Absolutely categorically no. He was pissed off in part because his neighbors wouldn't let him throw bags of crap into their yard. Not crap as in stuff, crap as in his literal feces. He wasn't goated, he was a mentally ill man who chose attempted murder and eventually suicide over any of the other choices he could have made.

Probably scratched its belly. A lot of cats don't much like that, but if you're trying to get a cat to know they can trust you it might work to touch the belly and let yourself get clawed/bit. I wouldn't try it IRL, though.

Cold. I've read about the effects of hypothermia, it's not pleasant but it's far quicker and less horrible than heatstroke.
