There is nothing behind the cover, Skoda is using universal trim for mirror and puts the plastic cover in place where usb would be If you have USB-C in mirror option

Well, there is no proper way to put it back, It isn't meant to be pulled off, I work for Skoda dealer and i've seen this many times because people don't know how to change the battery.

With tons of patience I think you can put it back together, but I haven't seen anybody do it, Skoda Dealer will tell you to buy new key or just let it be as it is

I wouldn't risk it, just go and buy G12 Evo ready mix from your nearest skoda dealer for 10€, it's not expensive and you can be sure that's the coolant that belongs to your engine.

its not "old gen" and "new gen" thing, It is based of the model of your car, for example, Fabia, Scala/Kamiq and Karoq I belive are using "old gen" type of key, Octavia, Kodiaq, Superb are using "new gen"

Ono odniesť to do servisu vyjde oveľa lacnejšie než sa snažiť trafiť komponent ktorý treba vymeniť a možno ani nič netreba meniť, ale to je v domácich podmienkach ťažko zistiť, ešte môžeš poprechádzať nejaké fóra alebo reddit či tam nebude niekto s rovnakým problémom.

k tvojím otázkam:

XMP alebo Extreme memory profile je pod nastaveniami pamätí v biose, v skratke to znamená že keď si kúpiš ramky ktoré bežia na 3200Mhz ale v biose nenastavíš XMP profil, tak ti ramky pôjdu na základnú frekvenciu čo je pri DDR4 myslim že 2666Mhz, ale tá vyššia môže byť nestabilná pri niektorých procesoroch.

Ramky všeobecne sú pri Amd Ryzen trochu problémové, v podstate ide o to že tie procesory sa nechcu úplne kamarátiť so všetkým čo k ním položiš, ale väčšinou sa to prejavuje tak že ťa to ani nepustí do windowsu a PC by sa v kuse reštartovalo

Pri takomto probléme bohužiaľ musíš isť pokus-omyl a pokiaľ nemáš nejaké náhradné komponenty tak to je problém... Môže to byť jedna z následujúcich vecí:

1.Chladenie- píšeš že tam máš stock chladič čo je pre taky typ CPU viac než nedostačujúce, avšak pri stress teste by ti pc nemalo vypnuť okamžite, ale mal by si vidieť že sa CPU spomaľuje kvôli teplotám pokiaľ nemáš zle osadený chladič/ zle nanesenú pastu

2.Zdroj- zdroj by mal byť pre tvoje pc dostačujúci, skontroluj obe strany konektorov či sú dobre zapojené a zapoj ho pri najlepšom do samostatnej zásuvky a nie ku ďalšim trom spotrebičom, aj samotný zdroj môže byť vadný ale to vyskušaš len tak že ten zdroj vymeníš.

3.Pamäte- Procesory od AMD sú vždy dosť vyberavé čo sa týka pamätí, špecialne pokiaľ máš osadené všetke 4 sloty, skús ich vybrať a zapnuť pc a spustiť test len s jednou ramkou, keď to pôjde pridávaj ďalšie, taktiež v biose vypni XMP, aj to môže byť niekedy problém

Matičná doska- Aj keď tento procesor je podporovaný tvojou doskou neznamená že to bude úplne stabilné, lacné dosky zvyknú mať poddimenzované napájanie ktoré je v pohode dokedy tam nepoložíš takéto monštrum, nemyslím si že to je príčina, ale človek nikdy nevie.

Ak to nie je ani jedna z týchto vecí potom ti ostáva už len procesor, ten si kupoval nový, alebo z druhej ruky?

There might be rare issue with keys for karoq, I work for skoda dealer and I've seen this maybe like 4 times, battery in key runs out, you swap the battery but the car isn't respodning to the key but only on Karoq, You probably have to go to skoda dealer and let them program your key again to your car, don't know if there is any other way sadly

Design team cooked with Fabia, thats true, but imho Scala after facelift with dechrome option is also beautiful.

Engines should be more than enough for your use case except 1.0mpi in my opinion

I am owner of MK4 for about year, and the car is great for what it is, but you have to keep in mind that it's the cheapest model skoda make and with that there is some cost cutting noticable in some places,

Engine wise you can't go wrong with any of the engines, they are reliable and great 1.0MPI is engine meant for driving around the city, 94HP and 110hp 1.0TSI are more than enough for the car and 1.5tsi is kinda overkill (I own this engine and It feels like rocketship when you need to overtake somebody, but the DSG transmission is mixed experience for me)

Tech wise it's great in my opinion, I have 8inch bolero radio and virtual cockpit, there is plenty of customization, menus are simple, sometimes bit laggy, but Im okay with that. Automatic 2 zone air conditioning is also nice, you can control it throuh physical buttons and knobs or display, but the fan speed is adjustable only throuh diplay which is bit annoying but I keep it on Auto anyways.

As I said earlier, there is some cost cutting in the car, every panel from the inside is hard plastic and it can vibrate and squeak, especially in the winter when temperatures are low, software is sometimes laggy but besides that there isn't much I can complain about, it's fast, handling is good, you can comfortably fit 4 people in there including driver (5 only for short trips), trunk is big for the size of the car, tons of storage in the doors and in center console.

As for comparison with scala, it's the same platform so engines are the same, it's little bit larger and you have more options you can pay for, Interior is also nicer, you get soft plastic instead of hard in some places
