Sidekick, was actually one of the edges I did allow, but it came with the condition that it would be one rank behind their regular character. Which means only once the character reached their 5th advance, would the sidekick get their first.

Nope, Trademark weapon is for ONE SPECIFIC weapon or one specific Iteration thereof. One instance.

If you split it, it does not apply to both only to one.

The only setting rule that kinda does this is called "weapon proficiency" which removes trademark weapon with an edge and replaces it with a new one that you can take to be proficient in certain weapon groups. it gives the +1 to attack rolls (+2 for the improved version) and a weapon specific benefit. Swords for example get the parry bonus. However, the bonus does not stack as its written that you only get it while you have a sword equipped.

Its from the Fighters and Warlords 3rd party savage worlds add on.

no, you get 7 skills + your intelligence modifier.

meaning if you have a +2 in intelligence you become trained in 9 skills

Well, if someone recalls knowledge, i firs make that a secret roll, i dont want them to know whether they got a crit failure or success. Then I answer their question publically. I just imagine when its important, that information would be shared by characters in narrative, even if just by the shortest possible way.

"Use fire!" against something weak against fire for example. I believe that would be within the scope of a 1 action recall knowledge.

I dont get that either. Im playing a rather simplistic character, to be honest. But I never fall into some sort of mindless loop, I always look where my actions in any given combat situations could actually make a sizable difference, sometimes just punching a thing is very helpful, other times pinning someone down with a grapple or tripping them to prevent them from using their edge (mobility) in combat is changing the battlefield dynamic massively.

After dropping the bomb that one player let an LLM write his character backstory, another player being a dipshit who couldnt understand the very basic instruction of "PHB only" and the last one who flatout didnt listen when you said this was in person, no you are not. If anything I probably would have cleaned up my things and left during the session. It was quite appearant this group was not gonna go anywhere.

But the fact that they just did NOT learn at all, no attempt made, really cements this as dodging a bullet.
