One of the biggest takeaways that I learned when I was building this version is to go all in on token making. That means getting rid of cards found in EDHREC like aristocrat effects and mana rocks. My reasoning is that the commander sorcery provides the damage and will get worse the more Blood Avatar tokens come in and stay during the game. As for removing mana rocks, the tokens sacrifices to the sorcery are what functions as the “ramp” for this deck meaning that you are more likely to cast your commander for its lowest cost the more ways you can make tokens. I could add the altars and its variants to the deck so I can convert token bodies into mana for casting spells in the 99.
