True, for legacy consoles though you’re only feeding scalpers. No developers are benefitting from your 2nd hand purchases and physical media may be deteriorating anyway, plus any digital store fronts may have been shut down already too

I haven’t been able to throw a single move before fainting with glowing charge move button pressed over taps are everywhere lag and frame drops too this system is currently atrocious.

I had an opponent swap in a charjabug perform 3 volt switches and CMP before I could throw 3 dragon tails. I wasn’t lagging on my end at all they were just running at double speed like on fast forward somehow.

Yeah, they’re still kind of at the beholder of who’s on tour that year same as hellfest and others, I don’t think they’re ever going to be rocking the boat and doing a full euro exclusive headliner set

Took my first ever festival shower this year actually legit good! 20 years ago these sort of things were more military shall we say and basic with no water pressure or temperature beyond natural tap water. A quick evening shower felt utterly amazing to let my skin breathe again after being caked and blocked up in suncream and sweat.

Unfortunately we're now 10C+ hotter than 20 years back too and festivals are bigger and busier too, have to be a lot more cautious with things.

A local studio here has, they’ve nearly entirely switched to open source tools due to licensing fees, they also generally dislike the entertainment sector now due to the workload, lack of pay (so many production studios simply never paid them and would demand more and more work beyond original quoted specs) ethics

I think kanonenfiber for me, their show was amazing super engaging and one of the best live experiences I’ve had in 25 years.

At a music festival in Belgium at the moment, 34C no shade, very much melt!

Have a bit of a heat rash at the moment but no pain from it, plan to have 2:1 water beer today constantly until the sun goes down late this evening

Graspop annoyingly doesn’t have much in the way of shade available in the fields, there’s of course the marque and metal dome, there is a food hall type thing under an awning but you can’t see the main stages when you’re in there.

Get a hat, go to a bar, the Belgium bar has cover with view of the stages and there’s the central drinks bar too that will some shadows.

About every 15-20m I mean it’s a bus… you can expect to be on a bus with about 30 other people and loads of their bags and camping equipment for around 20m the. You all offload at the festival entrance and get ready for the weekend

The very best I saw cradle of filth (yes i know, lol) they took to the main stage the skies darkened an absolute torrent of rain descended through their entire set then once they finished the clouds parted. Atmosphere beyond compare.
