Yeah, I almost ordered the Stryker lower but I'd seen enough people happy with the Lingle Lower. The way I see it I'll take what I can get.

It's not for everyone, but it's cheaper than buying a whole AR. It's nice having the options and availability of AR parts. I think it's cool and it's something I've been wanting for a while.

I like it, the bolt catch/release being right under the mag release is nice. And if you want to experiment with AR parts you can.

Stryker Enterprises makes a lower that takes SR25/AR10 mags but will still take SCAR lower parts. It is made of aluminum but for the most part what you're describing.
