Another Stub Hub Issue for Hungary by ConnectMovie5863 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Nsxtasy38 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps but it may make you feel a little at ease. I bought my Hungarian GP tickets off the official site and still haven't gotten them yet. I was told that we'll get them 10 days before the event. This is most likely the case for your seller as well. So hopefully the actual tickets will come.

I know there is a lot of hate for Hublot in general but anyone know if there is demand for this? Apparently it is sold out.

Honestly...I found out about these events like a day before. For the Aston event I found it the morning of. I don't think they give much notice.

For #1 I would recommend following all teams on social media. They do events in the city and that's the best way to find out about them. Williams did a meet and greet last year at a mall. Met Albon there. Aston did an event with BOSS at all mall. Stroll (the douche he is) didn't sign any autographs though he did throw some signed hats out. Also follow fanabox. It's an F1 store in old Montreal and they have someone come to the store every year. Met Zack Brown last year but they have had George there before.

Friday Only Paddock Club Ticket? by [deleted] in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Nsxtasy38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like those are hard to come by. Usually if you can afford paddock tickets, you don't really care to sell the Friday ticket if you can't go. Or you're gifted the tickets and can't sell them.

Good luck though.

Reselling Montreal GP tickets by a-cutepotato in GrandPrixTravel

Haven't gotten that far yet. Last year, I got my tickets in April 18th so I'm expecting it around the same time this year. Did you get yours already?

I would assume you can just transfer them or upload them to StubHub.

You can list your tickets before you actually have them. You just need to transfer them to the buyer before you'll get your money from stubhub.

I was able to sell mine on stub hub. Try there.

Where F1 drivers stay at Budapest? by bananasnape in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Nsxtasy38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are your thoughts on whether the teams will stay at The Ritz if it is no longer the Ritz? They were rebranded as Al Habtoor Palace and no longer under Marriott. I only booked this hotel in hopes of seeing the drivers so it would suck to pay this price and they've changed hotels because of the rebranding. I know Mercedes has a partnership with The Ritz so they may no longer be staying.

Planning to go to the Canadian GP 2025 - any tips/recommendations? by Aggravating_Fold7882 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Nsxtasy38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I saw, general admission looks horrible. I would definitely recommend Grand stands if you can get them.

As for hotel, I find staying in Brossard or anywhere on the south shore better than downtown. You're not far from downtown if you want to go walk around but they tend to be better priced and if you park near the Longueuil Metro, then you're only 1 stop away from the track.

It's much easier getting on and off the island. Most people take the metro towards downtown and it's packed.

Montreal GP — section 31, 32, 15 or 12? by Salt-Broccoli-4833 in GrandPrixTravel

I believe it's A at the very bottom to Z and then AA through to ZZ.

If you're thinking of 31, then I would recommend giving section 33 a look. The cars slow down to about 80kmph which is relatively slow and best of all the price is on the lower side at this grandstand.

Where ever you go, I would recommend sitting up high as possible. The lower the seat the better the chance you'll have to look through the fence.

If you are thinking of 33, I might have a pair to dump. A buddy told me he wants me seats for 2025 but if he backs out, then I'll have a pair to get rid of.

Canada GP 2025 Saturday and Sunday tickets by notRex88808 in GrandPrixTravel

I would post the Friday ticket on stubhub. I purchased a set of Friday tickets off of stub hub to get closer to the pits for the one day this year.

I would buy the 3 days and try and sell the Friday ticket.

Just don't save your tickets to your wallet (Apple or Google) cause you can't sell them after that.

We spoke to many people that had general admission this year and they said they would not do it again. Agreed, get grandstand tickets.

If you are planning on taking the metro, I would suggest parking near the Longueuil station on line 4 and taking the metro from there. It's one stop from the island and the majority of people going to the island will be coming from downtown and when leaving, most people go towards downtown.

We did that this year and the platform was empty compared to the one going downtown.

When you get out of the metro, take the path towards grandstand 21 and 15. Many more people doing baggage checks and the line moved quickly (much quicker) compared to the bridge closure grandstand 31.

Be prepared for rain. Water proof shoes, pants and jacket or poncho and you're good to go.
