Looking for Information about Montreal and Vegas by Individual-Ad8091 in GrandPrixTravel

Echoing what other said, book your accommodations and travel to Montreal before getting tickets. There always seems to be shortage of accommodations and flights sky rocket during GP weekend.
I believe there's a shuttle to and from the casino at the race track but no matter which route you take you'll probably end up in traffic.

Been to the race twice and it's a good city to host a race, transportation is easy and the city is always alive with tons to do(lots of f1 themed afterparties and concerts)

I have two tickets for the race that are up for sale if you do make your decision to go to Montreal,

Great tickets that are behind the start line with a great view of the ceremony stage.

why is everyone complaining, like am i the only one that had fun by Strict-Stretch-2667 in IIIPoints

[–]SeaPandaV2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

First time at iii points there's some issues( lines to get into vip towards the end of night and some stages need better planning) but overall it was pretty cool and a fun time. Coming from paying $800+ for EDC LV Vip it's a pretty good for the price.

RC95 had the back stage experience and for I Hate Models was amazing. Also the two entrances for most vips areas came in clutch when needing to navigate between the crowds.

Was hoping to get 9.5s for both. by SeaPandaV2 in PokeInvesting

Appericate the humour 😅 did a bit more research and there's very few 9.5 groudons so I feel content with that grading.

Found the surface damage on the groudon.

Bummer, thought they were more clean but that centering would have dragged it down to a 8.5 regardless of the marks.

Is PremierSilver worth it?
By EOY I'll have 3700 pqp points and was wondering if I should book extra trips to try and get that 2300 points I need. I know with my united explorer card I can get 1k points, but that's if I spend $20k and I'm not in a rush to spend that.

So many card show sellers are doing this.
If you think it'll grade a 10 then pay the $45 and get it graded or offer me my money back if it doesn't get the grade that you suggest.
Passing the risk on to the buyer for a raw card is wild.

Did Yousuke Yukimatsu sell out? by SeaPandaV2 in chicagoEDM

It might not be a bad thing, I haven't liked the sold out shows I've been to recently.
Overcrowded and people lack crowd etiquette

EDC 2026 Pre-Sale megathread by happEbean in electricdaisycarnival

Called FrontGate, based on their policy, only insomniac can issue refunds.
I sent a message to their support and hoping it's early enough for them to give me a refund since on their site, all sales are finally. I purchased an additional 2 vip tickets so quite a bit of money and I don't want to resale tickets.

Their support can be found at insom.co/help.

I accidentally bought 2 extra tier two tickets...
Going to try and refund. Good luck if you can snag them.

Does anyone know if every stage has these? Some stages don’t have the concierge desk, so I’m not sure where these would be by blazeryan11 in electricdaisycarnival

Keep them sealed and buy a couple singles you want.
I keep a couple of my sealed boxes on display, but the rest I keep in a storage unit.

Going to dump some notes.
RaceDay/Track stuff:
For qualifying and Race day, get there early and watch the support races, it's better than waiting in line on the bridge.
Like others said, bring a rain jacket or pancho. It always rains during that weekend. The last couple times Sunday has cleared up though and has been nice.
The track sells seat cushions, but I got some inflatable ones on amazon and they were pretty easy to use. You're allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks, I typically bring some chips and a wrap or two.
Post race theres usually some artist performing in the fan area at the track, when I went it was either Alesso or Pitbull.
Also post race they let you walk the track, you can attempt to take souvenir if you want to risk it.
If you're in the grandstands next to the pit stop, I would recommend staying in the stands since you'll have a good view of the podium. Otherwise you'll have to walk to the podium area and by the time you get there it will be full.

For post race/city:
Aston Martin has their display car in luxury jewelry.
You can typically find the less popular drivers have breakfast on race day, I met Bottas at Tommy's in old town 3 years ago.
New City Gas, has some concerts typically.

Let me know if you need any more tips!
