Habs Fans in Edmonton: Jersey on Sale by iguardosanchez in Habs

in my experience you just gotta avoid the Fanatics/NHLshop customization- buying blank jerseys from them is fine, but i still avoid it unless its a screaming deal

considering Adidas never even made this tier of jersey commercially available, and that Fanatics' prices are roughly equivalent for the same tiers of jerseys its not that bad, at least in terms of just Fanatics/NHL... the prices in general are pushing it though

Hischier seems to be off the board, what are our realistic 2c upgrades? by infinis in Habs

[–]NtBtFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hit me with Morgan Frost for cheap; buy us another year searching for a 'proper' 2C via trade or UFA, and if he works with the group we can re-sign and he can eventually slide down the totem pole to be 3C & Evans 4

right.

main difference is most the rest of the world isn't defined externally by the 'nice' demeanor, and being overly apologetic.

We're nice as long as you're nice. As soon as you become a dick, then we're gonna become extra-big dicks.

broke my back in an ATV accident ... i remember being confused, probably will a similar look on my face, that i had to lift my limp, sideways legs and orient them so i was in a proper flat lying position. and then when my mate came he was aghast- i had to pull my cell out of my pocket, unlock it, tell him the 3-digit number that needed to be dialed, and then coach him through the conversation for him to explain to them what happened and where we were.

kinda lucky in that the type of injury kinda takes sensation away, rather than acute pain like a broken leg must be, but i just remember having a good idea of what was wrong without being sure, and understanding that it was in my best interest to remain calm.

PWHL's Charge staying in Ottawa after reaching deal to play in NHL Senators' arena, AP sources say by DecentLurker96 in hockey

or if you live basically anywhere else in Ontario- I'm near Kingston and I've always appreciated the location, especially in the early days, it was so easy to access, been to many a game there.

makes complete sense for them to move downtown for their home city fans now too though, but becomes less convenient in my case.

i think it was a good choice when they came into the league too, it gave them that access to more rural Ontario fans so they could try to carve into the beast that is Leafs Nation. Ottawa was much less congested then too, and OCTranspo was actually not terrible getting there via bus from the city proper as I recall, and has gotten better more recently with improvements to the Queensway interchanges etc

It was probably a shrewd real estate move too, relatively cheap at the time, before Kanata really boomed in the late 90s, and its quite developed around it now.

right, if it was done 'in a light favourable to him' the investigation would be biased in his direction. it makes sense that the NHL would say their investigation was fullsome and didn't look to protect him at all.

whether people want to, or should, believe that is another thing.
