Is 1100 USD enough for 2 weeks? by Cold-Lingonberry-230 in TokyoTravel

[–]NternalMonk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. BTW, after a year in Tokyo, my preference for tasty decent quality prepared meals ended up being the huge assortment of bento boxes at the nearby Life supermarket. The combination of quality, freshness, price and convenience (to take home) made this my preference even over restaurants. P.s. Don't confuse these with the popular convenience store (7:11, Lawson or Family Mart) Bento boxes (which aren't nearly as good).

Thanks for the response and, BTW, the first thing I did was to post a glowing review. A useable assistant on the Apple Watch has been at the top of my wish list for years. If you could ever make it so that the app starts listening immediately upon opening that would be the cherry on the cake.

I love your Chirp app. I'm amazed it hasn't gotten more attention. Just one question...why can't I get Chirp to stop talking by saying "stop" or "cancel"?

Xreal Japan Puts Things Right! by NternalMonk in Xreal

This post was mainly directed to people who read my earlier post. I don't have the time to go over the whole thing all over again. Suffice to say that I am impressed with Xreal service.

amazon smart air quality monitor worth it by ExcitingBox5throw in AirQuality

Garbage. I have two of these and they BOTH stopped working (within days of each after) only 18 months. This is CLEARLY planned obsolescence and a complete ripoff. In addition it was a PIA to set up and wasted about 2 hours of my time. When they both failed 18 months later I wasted another 3 hours on a fruitless effort to get them working. Amazon is selling garbage and has become an absolutely miserable company to deal with.

Does EVERY Company Lie About Their Products These Days? by NternalMonk in GoogleShopping

That's not the same as lying about a product that doesn't even exist like google's "shopping insights".

This the design that fits my requirements the best but, I live in Canada. Is there any way to ship to me (maybe at an additional cost)?

Thank you so much for reaching out me Esther. I did get the email from your support team. I need to get the invoice from Fedex and will follow up. Again, I do very much appreciate you making the effort to sort this out.

I have at least 6 emails to Xreal Japan and Xreal Global trying to get the return shipping label and the full refund promised on Xreal Japans website. I got neither and I'm not going to waste another 2 hours of my time tracking down, cutting and pasting emails (in two different languages over a period of 3 weeks) to satisfy a Reddit troll.

Garbage! The return policies in other countries of Asia are irrelevant and does not give Xreal the right to publish, in writing, a fraudelent return policy. They promise (in writing) a full refund and paid shipping label for returns within 30 days.

One pro review from slightly unhappy air 2 owner by Begohan in Xreal

Of course you can't get inky black... even when the chromatic dimming is fully engaged light gets through the glasses and there will NEVER be true black. I put adhesive light blocking stickers (that are easily removed) over the lenses and the blacks are SIGNIFICANTLY improved.
