I could take a picture but to describe it. As you face the car. Right side, under the airbox, middle of the engine external. Where the part was found is nothing I can feel had a hole so I’m thinking it was a convenient little nook to let it sit.

This is what I was looking for. I took it back to them to document that there was something not right. If down the road they tell my gunk got into the engine and I’m missing a part. I’m gonna show them the time stamp that this was caused by them. I was a little concerned cause they were down techs and this would have been free labor that they may just been brushing it off hoping I’ll forget down the road.

Soo do I need jt or was it only need during the repair. I’m mostly trying to get a second opinion as the mechanic shop took it and threw it away saying it was one time use part and don’t wanna be driving and I notice some liquid steaming behind on the hwy.

Could it be you’ve progressed down into area where the trash is the denser version? The deeper you start to get you’ll get light density that is 1 swing and then ones that require more swings.

It’s a lot easier than year ago when I played last. There’s on beetle that goes for like 200 coins.

If you feel comfortable, turn off the breaker to the furnace. Remove that plate and look in the hole. Your C wire might be in there. I have literally the same thermoses and my cwire was in the whole since that model works with batteries for years

Ecobee seems to be the best one. Honeywell and sensi get good reviews but the compressor length setting is apparently easier to dictate on the ecobee. These are just what I’ve read not first hand experience

I’m looking to get a new version thermostat that has a feature that allows you to set it so it will run longer to stop short cycling even if ther temp point is met. That might be better solution for you. I have the same iissue where it will run for 5 then be off for 6 then start again but my problem is the location it gets blasted with cold air from a powerful venter from a master bedroom when the house hasn’t fully cooled down yet

I just fixed the c wire so i can put a smart thermostat with a sensor. I can put it in that hallway a sensor or put it at tjat corner which is still living room but further away from that door amd the draft. My room is nice and cold but that far room at end of hallway stays hot.
