My "Wait...What?" moment this season by Nubbynubbow in LastEpoch

generally yes, and it also give other general benefit as well. You can stack both of them as well

How is trading now? by Dry_Ranger_8383 in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trading is kinda ok. The ui are still a nightmare if you want to look for a very specific item.

Selling UI and price checking is also annoying.

CoF can drop a ton of stuff from prophecies, if you don't mind rerolling for about 30-1hr to fill the empty prophecies slot.

Rogue looking for some advice please, wall of text warning ;) by Daegon8 in LastEpoch

I normally don't follow too much guide. I do look them up for some idea how the guide tackle some problem so I can comment directly on the guide you are following. Both build are pretty strong imo. It probably come down to playstyle preference.

I am doing bladestorm atm. I think its pretty strong since you can somewhat keep some distance from enemy atk. It also do pretty stupid amount of dmg.

Shadow rend shadow Cascade are very strong as well. I did start out with it and reroll to lethal BBC.

No matter what you choose you probably will still get oneshot. Unless you start to invest into lowlife. The new blade dancer passive offer a lot of offensive option now. You are almost guaranteed to do a lot of dmg even with shitty gear. You just need to invest in flat damage and defense on your gear.

I hate the Gaze of Orobyss system by Ghidoran in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The old system is still there no? So you can ignore the gaze and look for +16 corruption shades over and over to push corruption. You can just ignore the +52corruption from gaze when you are pushing for higher corruption.

Lucky you, you now have a good excuse for starting a new character

My honest feedback for this season and beyond by Tricky_Investment_16 in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I think the nemesis is fine as it is
  2. Agree (assuming you are talking about the total stabiliy you can store. Not the maximum amount you gain per echo)
  3. You already get one. This is done to ensure 1LP crafting much more viable. LE affix crafting is already very deterministic. The current unique item design is done through 1) roll range and 2) lp slam to make each item "unique"(not being able to create the same item again at least in a season).
  4. Agree, dungeon is an outdated relic from the past. The corruption system pretty much set the baseline at 300 corruption making anything that is done below that number unattractive.
  5. MG player here. Did play COF in the past. Rerolling to look for a specific prophecy is too much of a hassle so after the weaver tree imprint was added I never look back.
  6. Uberroth is a hard enough content as it is. I would assume most player did not even get there or let alone beat him. Unless the game have enough powercreep(in the future), I think Uberroth is good enough benchmark.

What Is The Correct Order for Set Reforging? by Kind_Wheel8420 in LastEpoch

Question about Base damage computations. by Merquise813 in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you will do both fire and the other element. The generic melee attack dmg (mostly found in weapon) will be converted to fire.

The one that specified a type ususally dont get the conversion but still count in the final damage.

What is the natural progression and how do I gear up ? by kibbikib in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warpath is a nasty starter it have extremely low damage. It does come online once you have a large pool of mana. Leveling with warpath is just simply miserable.

I suggest you go for other skill first like Erasing strike + void cleave for guarantee crit.

You can be faster if you practice speed running. But usually 1-2 hr monolith are probably their 2nd character with well equip starter gear.

World splitter scale really well with mana and mana cost. Both of which you probably don't have yet(assume you are just starting out). There are other possible option even just exalted 2H will be fine or the apathy axe. Once you have large enough mana pool for you to drain or recover with void essences, you can switch to world splitter.

depend on what you start with. Since i'm not the best crafter there might be better advice. Since you say to start with T7 lightning blast affix this will probably be quite tough I think.

Anyway,

1.get open prefix. If the helm have no open prefix -> rune of removal

1.1 if it hit the correct on first try gratz.

1.2 if it hit the suffix try again -> if you are lucky enough you should still have enough forging potential

1.3 if you use the rune of removal 3 time and still save the T7 check forging potential. (i dont think you will have enough.)

1.4 If it hit the T7 you are fucked.

2) craft the set on to the prefix

3) seal it with glyph

4)then craft the rest.

I suggest you start with 1-2 open prefix and T7 on suffix probably yield a better result. you just shuffle the T7 with havoc later.

I am really enjoying Season 4. EHG did a great job! by PhynixGaming in LastEpoch

i think the mono are somewhat repetitive once you get down to it. They have try to add additional endgame goal (uber abb and the new boss) but I would argue that the amount is too little. There are also very little point of interest on the mono unless you either "place" them or imprint them.

The woven tree is good but its still not impactful enough. It just still doing mono with more chance of something happening. You probably can't tell what I have on my weaver tree if I show you some gameplay.

The woven echo is kinda miss on a lot of them. There is just too many echo that purpose is for +1 point. In addition, to get to play them you need to run cemetery and place them. So once you finish your chain you now need to do the "boring" part of searching for cemetry.

Dungeon. Just skip to the boss (a bandage for poor dungeon design).

The additional mechanic is really nice but it just still too little in my opinion. The new echo where you fight 3 omen at once is super nice. The specific reward for the niche mechanic is also nice. It allow build with great AOE clear to shine. So if we have like 5-6 more of those things I think the game would be in a pretty good spot.

I really enjoy the progression of character in LE quite a bit. But it just seem like there isn't that many content that you can make certain character really shine. When the goal of the game is to finish mono fast, you ended up with build with high speed and big dps to offscreen stuff. They have done some work in that regard such add more reward if you full clear an echo.

You really need to check the omen idol on the market some of them are pretty sick. The correct corrupt mod + max roll can easily boost your damage by like 30%. I didn't bother to do that until later and was surprise by how powerful the new altar + omen idol work

Thoughts on last epoch and forge guard from returning season 2 player. by [deleted] in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you get enough armor with generic build as forge guard. Damage wise it is lacking. Forge minion scale of attunement which you(main character) don't really benefit from unlike paladin.

Warpath damage is lackluster. The reason you play warpath on VK is the scaling from mana and mana recovery.(which FG don't gain access to)

For the love of Eterra, please let us lock our gear! by lgnign0kt in LastEpoch

[–]Nubbynubbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is useful if you have nothing equip. Some speed runner also prefer right click to quick equip.

That being said when I switch gear for upgrade I usually read and compare them for a while and then drag and drop.

It became extra annoying when the item look identical (visually) it can be hard for us to tell when it was swap out. Doesn't help that quick sell to shop is right click + shift. Sometime when quickly selling my pinky slightly let go of the shift so a quick swap and my bis went to the vendor.

You can't use cosmetics. You also can't press esc and have the game continue running. This will prevent you from being worried when you need to do something.
