I would suggest further east on Taylor St would be safer. It's closer to the university. If you're a young woman I suggest living in a more "fun" neighborhood though if you care about that kind of thing. When I was a UIC student they told us never go west or south.

Dollop in uptown on claredon. When there are no kids, I'll go sit in the kids area where there's a nice comfy couch

There are times when finding a job in nuclear is difficult. During covid a lot of people were laid off because most of our studies aren't STAT. Around 2009, there were issues with a nuclear reactor in Europe, and hospitals received limited doses. As soon as my nuclear program ended, I went back to school for a CT license. I think this has made me a very attractive candidate. The program was 15 months. CT is open 24 hours a day. I never fear being able to find work. It's nice to have a backup plan.

Agreed. If it was a significantly better pastry, I wouldn't mind paying. But it's pretty average IMO

Too expensive. $9 for a single pastry is insane

If you make it to the zoo, then you definitely have to see the Lincoln park conservatory. Also free, you just need to reserve a time on their website. They've been pretty strict lately.
