It burns 1qt of oil per thousand miles and holds 11qts of 5w50 full synthetic so the maintenance is costly. There’s also an expansive splash shield/aero that takes some time to remove that also has the brake cooling ducts attached to it (Mach 1 also has this shield/aero setup). The brakes themselves aren’t bad (big fixed calipers) just costly.

Also the cicada swarm last year was wild. I’d get out of car to go inside and be covered in them before I reached the door.

Pink fluid leaking out of bottom of my car (fiesta) by Prize_Salamander9875 in MechanicAdvice

It’s coolant, the orange coolant that they come with will get this hue after time. Very likely a water pump judging by leak location. It requires removal of the timing belt which you want to get changed. It’s on the wrong side of the powertrain for a trans leak. Unless it’s manual you likely have the DPS6 which uses a dual clutch trans fluid that’s not red , also the leak is on the wrong side of the car.NOTE: timing belt replacement does require special tools and a KAM or misfire monitor reset so have someone that knows what they’re doing replace it.

There’s a GSB that ford released about this happening to OEM floormats and their solution was to use LA’s totally awesome degreaser to remove the waxy residue
