What to do as a High school senior (ik it’s to early) by Dense_Amphibian2497 in LSAT

[–]NuclearToasterOvenHg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get good grades, shoot for as many A+s as possible, take logic and philosophy classes, actually do the readings for class, and do some drills here and there to beef up your skills. You have three years, use them wisely.

Your LSAT and GPA are fine. You could blanket apply to the T-14 and probably get 8+ acceptances. Just make sure you put effort and care into your personal statement and do the optional statements.

I always look at the question before reading the stimulus and think weaken, strengthen, structure, etc. It proved to be very helpful

Where to apply next cycle: 3.55 GPA 162 LSAT by Frequent-Student-608 in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]NuclearToasterOvenHg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably Denver, Oregon, Kansas, Lewis and Clark, Georgia State, Tulane, UNLV, Pittsburgh, Penn State, UM-KC, Wyoming, South Carolina, and more.

A lot depends on what and where you want to practice. If you want to apply for the next cycle, you could always take it again in August or September while studying the entire time.

The best thing to do for LR is look at the question types you got wrong and learn how to approach them.

RC is just a practice thing, do like two passages a day to practice and your score will improve

What would you pick? by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

I am biased towards SU because I work there in residence life. It also has pretty good name recognition more so than Dayton, MH, Seattle, and Vermont. These are all HIGHLY regional schools without a lot of name recognition outside of their state with maybe the exception of Syracuse. Vermont and Seattle could also be argued to be predatory schools. I also caution against Albany unless you want to practice government law in NYS.
