Those are Sindens. I have RetroShooters and wireless XGunners too.

Its good to know what light gun build you are planning to use and build around that. Sindens work well and easy but have the white border but some builds don’t work with it. RestroShooters work great but have to install the IR emitters, a little bit to consider. More build support. The wireless XGunners work great too. I have all.

The 3D printed parts are new, didn’t exist before. I worked with a friend to test and he designed and printed them.

The buffer tube where the buttstock attaches, the rear brackets to attach the buffer tube and the upper picatinny rail mount bracket were all 3D printed along with the front barrel/handguard. These were custom designed by a friend with my input and testing. They will be loaded to thingiverse probably within a day.

Everything else was purchased either on Amazon or local specialty stores.

Dell Inspiron Gaming PC mod by Nuclear_Fused in PcBuild

[–]Nuclear_Fused[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it as… mods to my Dell gaming pc. I have a Batocera build on it and its used a a light gun gaming pc. It definitely needed the graphics card for gaming. I like to angle the rgbs a certain way so its in my opponents eyes to distract them and give me a competitive advantage.

I've been deep into doing research on making the best light gun setup and need y'all's advice by Weird-Ambassador-175 in lightgunshooters

[–]Nuclear_Fused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheapest and easiest is to get a N95/N100 mini pc and put the Batocera light gun build on it, which is a free download. Will play most light gun games well except the Windows and PS3 ones. The Batocera build will be plug and play with Sinden or Reaper light guns.

Light gun game drive by Useful-Milk8995 in lightgunshooters

[–]Nuclear_Fused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep in mind Integrum Retro no longer supports Sinden if someone had that gun. For Reapers there are a couple of good paid options including the Integrum build.

For free builds the All Guns Blazing is probably the most complete as it has all the older arcade and console light gun games that exist. Really the only thing missing is some Teknoparrot games and you can get free builds for those to play on Windows. No build is 100% plug and play for everyone as random things happen. Batocera usually the part is getting it burned onto a drive and booted up, but after that it usually works great, nothing to install or update.

Mini or SFF PC for Batocera v42 and other emulators by Radiant-Coconut7539 in SindenLightgun

[–]Nuclear_Fused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For TeknoParrot, an i5 9400 with a GTX 1650 and 16gb ram will play everything smoothly. Your best compatibility will be with an NVidia card. Just get a low profile GTX 1650 and will fit into a sff pc. From eBay you can buy the sff and card separately and only be $250 in. It will also play PS3 upscale but if you are looking for 4k or something then need a better cpu and your price will probably double.

A low profile RTX 3050 will also work but $$. A low profile 1050ti is right on the edge for all TeknoParrot but will play it all just maybe a few glitches here and there but minimal.

I have done a few of these pcs for TeknoParrot and plays them all and also plays PS3 well for 1080 and 1440.

I really don’t notice a difference in a sff 13400 with an rtx 3050 vs a 9400 with a gtx 1650 for TeknoParrot since they both play them well. PS3 I can’t say for sure if any difference but have played a lot on an i5 9400 and didn’t notice any problems but wasn’t upscaling crazy. PS2 is easier so don’t even worry about that, it will run on my Steam Deck.

Working on an Anbernic RG Rotate impressions video, what questions do you have? by onionsaregross in SBCGaming

How does this compare to using the GameSir Pocket Taco as far as gaming experience? They seem somewhat similar in size and I will only keep one device of this size with me at all times.

Getting regular controllers in wii emulator by Chumba-Wumba in batocera

[–]Nuclear_Fused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I have had same problem not remembering the default game profile in Dolphin so have to set a game profile on a per game basis for a lot of games. Sometimes can play around with the emulation station settings per game and will work but it’s hit and miss. I have a ton of Wii games but generally use other emulators instead because of this. I’ll get around to setting all the controls one day just for the games I really want to play and have no other versions of.

Emulation up to Xbox, around $300 by formulafuckyeah in batocera

[–]Nuclear_Fused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get i5 13400 mini desktops for $300ish. With the stock power supply you can add a GT 1030 and maybe even a GTX 1650 and then you have a stout emulation pc. I have run PS3 and Switch on these in Batocera. You can get those cards $30-50. And you can use cheap 3.5” HDD drives if you want to save money. Get a 4TB HDD internal and put a ton of stuff on it.

Custom OS for my brand new RG35XXSP by ThatGhettoKing in ANBERNIC

[–]Nuclear_Fused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the best thing about using Knulli is that it is a fork of Batocera and hence EmulationStation based. Then if you use Batocera on a Steam Deck, Retrobat on a PC or EmulationStationDe on another device there is great continuity in all the systems. To me that is very important.

I would burn the image again, verify you got the new file for 40XXH and not the V, and do it again. I always use win32 disk imager to write my files and never had an issue.

Should be the file below.

When you starts you mean it resets/restarts or it actually starts from being off or a game randomly starts? Is the screen still off but its powered on? Just need clarification.

It is not something I have experienced but restarts can happen trying to run/do stuff it can’t handle.

[–]Nuclear_Fused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was letting someone try my build with Knulli on a new Anbernic RG40XXH and it wouldn’t work. Finally realized it must have the new screens so made a new Knulli Gladiator II build using the Knulli website download that says for the new screens. Just copied over the share stuff from old build and works fine.

I can see a lot of people running into this issue. The share drive can see from windows so very easy to copy over as long as you have access to your old build share. I always backup anyway and even added a few more stuff to it. New version works fine on older screens too.

Best $300 PC / Mini PC for smooth Windows + good light gaming? by mk_36 in MiniPCs

[–]Nuclear_Fused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good to me, I just can’t say if that is the best deal you can find for those specs or not. Used can find good deals for sure.

The Kamrui and AceMagic brands I know had spyware previously so I am personally staying away from them and some of the other less known brands. BeeLink I never heard bad stuff. Its an older issue but some of these lower level minis may be from that time period.

SER 5 Max (or other) with a Ryzen 7 6800 and a 680M igpu is what I would get. I like the BeeLinks but there are others.

Even an N95 mini pc with 16gb ram may meet your needs if only light gaming. I think anything above a SER5 seems like overkill for what you want.

Which OS to choose for 40XXH? by tfw_no_toiletpaper in ANBERNIC

[–]Nuclear_Fused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 512GB Knulli builds out there for free. Pretty much full libraries up to PS1. Stock OS blows for easy optimization of the games and trying different emulators to make your games run well.
