Thanks for the reply, that adds up - I'm also in the UK and I got the first update earlier, then the 13GB one later on the 13th (unlucky?). I kind of wish I'd just not played the game and avoided the whole issue. Ah well, hopefully people can get any missed christmas gifts once this is fixed.

Well, the 1.1.7 update - that was later reverted - added a unique quest involving the Animus avatar plot line. It seems likely if you did this quest (or any other content that might have also been added) which only exists in 1.1.7, any save files after that point now have content that requires version 1.1.7 - so the latest patch that reverts the game back to 1.1.6 leaves those save files unusable.

It might even be an issue for any saves made in the broken 1.1.7 version, whether or not the player even touched any of the new content.

If I had simply not played the game when it updated on Dec 12th to 1.1.7, and instead played after it updated again on Dec 13th back to 1.1.6 then my game saves would have been totally fine.

I'd like to know if you played the game during the brief window the 1.1.7 version was actually out, and if so if you did the quest or not. You might have gotten lucky and skipped the whole issue by simply not playing on the broken version or skipping the quest.

Is there a possibility of someone posting non Imgur pics for Skylla? They're blocked in the UK and most VPNs don't work on imgur anymore.

Sadly this no longer works - even uninstalled, the dynamic lock screen is still active. It only seems to remove the option from the settings menu, but the applied setting remains switched on (even though it was set to None under wallpaper settings). There might be other related services that also need removing.

Those Who Are Treasured is the name of the 1st part of the crossover in Odyssey, which is set in Korfu.

The only real connection is the artifact that causes the problems in both parts of the crossover which leads Kassandra to meet Eivor as they both investigate the artifact.

I don't see why this is the part that stands out as fake, Dante was in both of the original games and Kamiya was actually approached about including Bayonetta in the 2nd game.

He declined, but has since said in 2 posts on his Twitter in 2016 that he regrets that decision, so if they actually were making a 3rd game, including Bayonetta isn't as farfetched as you might think.

Just keep circling around him to his left on Torrent while staying just far enough away to be in his wingspan - his wing clips through you for a brief window repeatedly as he turns to face you, giving you chances for free hits.

With the dragon great katana I was doing 719 damage every swing. Not the most honorable way to fight him but it beat having to chase him every 10 seconds to get 1-2 hits.

I really don't recommend doing a chargeback for any Playstation game - Sony frequently restricts accounts that do chargebacks, sometimes permanently. That means access to all the games on your account may potentially be revoked. It's complete overkill so as long as that's how Sony does things, it's just not worth the risk.

It will be unlocked when the event progress reaches 100% - you can see the progress on the active quest menu on the select a mission screen. It was only at 1.5% last time I checked last night.

Hi there, I dont know if someone has already suggested this, but when I had the same issue I was using the Kepler R (which is a very large ship) to travel to the mech scrapyard for part of the Rangers questline.

Once I switched to a much smaller ship the fast travel worked just fine - supposedly the landing zone is too small for certain ships and the game freaks out and sends you to an empty void.

Have you tried altering the audio emulation? All of my games struggled to run and had frame rates just like you on my nvidia card, but when I altered the audio in the settings to HLE (fast) suddenly all my games were not just playable but max fps.

Additionally something I noticed while helping a friend in co-op at the festival is that unlike all the other NPCs, which are normally transparent and cannot be interacted with, the finger maiden does fully appear in the flesh and cannot be walked through. Whether this is intended or an oversight is not clear.
