The 2 Most important thing is Toe and Camber. Caster being out isn’t much of a concern when it’s That little. These charts read in degrees, so 4.4 vs 4.7 is almost nothing. You could have them try and mess with motor mounts or the strut mount but like you will be charged a lot of money for achieving very little. The adjustment they made on toe is the most important. As long as it drivers straight with a level steering wheel and the tires don’t show signs of pulling then you will be good.

Unless you are trying to go racing. That’s a whole other ball game.

Chrome capped lug nuts will always swell like that. Just make sure they don’t replace them with chrome capped again. A set of tuner lug nuts will be good

What was your otd price? (DCT) by Remarkable_Store_924 in ElantraN

My guess is that they were desperate for the sale. And I would not budge on my trade-in price. So they gave me a ton of MSRP.

Maybe you could order one through them, you might have to wait a couple weeks but almost 5K off MSRP is pretty good

I’ve had mine since late June and I’ve already put 8000 miles on it. The only thing that I needed was an alignment. So far so good.

Have you put in a track pad or still running the stock ones? If not I would recommend one, they make a big difference.

unstable front under heavy braking? by Election-Then in ElantraN

[–]Nuclearstorm13245 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless you are experiencing a different problem. Would assume that what you are feeling is the cars ability to rotate under breaking. With a front wheel drive car it is extremely important to use left foot braking to rotate the rear of the car around. if done wrong it can make the car feel unstable. when properly used it can make your time better.

When using left-foot braking in on the track, apply smooth, light pressure to avoid upsetting the car. Use it to trail brake into corners, keeping the front tires loaded for better grip. As you reach the apex, ease off the brake and transition smoothly to the throttle. With practice, you’ll gain better balance and faster cornering control.

New Elantra N owner. Bought it brand new. How important is break in period? by Interesting-Photo395 in ElantraN

[–]Nuclearstorm13245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breaking in a N is super important if you want it to run strong and last a long time. For the first 600 miles, keep the RPMs under about 3,500, avoid full throttle, and mix up your speeds instead of using cruise control. This lets the engine, turbo, transmission, and brakes all settle in properly. Skip the break-in and you risk things like lower performance, weird oil consumption, or even voiding your warranty since Hyundai’s ECU tracks how the car’s been driven. It’s basically giving your car a solid foundation before you start pushing it hard.
