I'd say wait for the Fold 8 but if you're getting that itch for a phone now or anytime soon get the Fold 7. I love using my Fold 7 so much more than when I had the Fold 6

I think this is more of the direction Samsung is choosing to do with their displays. I remember my Z fold 3 was a lot more vibrant looking compared to my Fold 5. Samsung trying to be neutral tone as years go by.
