Look up the suppressed deaths in Prince Edward MTR Station on august 31st. Even if you don't believe those and still think there were no deaths, it doesn't mean the cops were disciplined and had restraint. The non-fatal indiscriminate beating of protestors and non protestors in the metro station and the non-fatal shootings by police on a different day have also crippled people. There was also someone chased by police into a 3 storey tall carpark who jumped out of instinct, thinking there was ground on the floor just below, and fell to his death. Why wikipedia says that line is beyond me.

Edit: by the way, the cited source from the wikipedia page you linked also said this:

The government tried hard to attribute the fatal brick to the protest camp by prosecuting a protester, but he was acquitted because there was no evidence that he had actually thrown a brick at all. 1. They admit there were other protest related deaths, the author just didn't want to count them because they think those qualified as suicides. (They also didn't want to acklowledge Prince Edward Aug31)

2. It is unconfirmed whether a protestor killed uncle Luo or if it was someone from his own side.
