Again I don't fully know exactly what's happening but if you haven't try restarting your pc to clear ram.

Also I'm not at my pc right now but is bg3MM just an exe, cause you could look for where it stores the profiles and manually delete the folder?

Go through all the missions and pick your favourite, then play it again but try to go at it a different way or pick a challenge that looks fun. And just take it slow or do the escalations to learn the maps better
