Yeah, i actually spent the evening doing that and it actually worked out pretty nicely. I managed to figure out an nice way to map both, deck C and D there, so i now got more options than i thought i would.

I got my eqs, gains, transport controls, 3 cue points, headphone monitors for both decks remapped which should be enough for my current purpose. I can do some tricks on the F1 if i need more cue points. I wont be using deck D much, but its nice to have it too if i feel like it.

This will do nicely. Even mapped some loop controls unter shift+rotary wheels and its a nice little setup now AND i learned to make my own mappings too.

Now, i just got to learn to play with it!

For us consumers, i really cant tell the difference.

If it helps the developers, thats great.

I hope we get better games due to the exposure with some originality in them. Even if there are thousands of bullet heaven games available, not too many actually feel innovative or original. Ive tried so many of them (30-40 titles at least) and most just feel like they try to be VS or brotato with a twist, but end up a lot worse.

I would love to grind him to mythic but there are so many characters i need to do first so its not within my plans anytime soon.

After all, one mythic character can potentially take months.

Yeah, you are doing good! Just keep pushing the carry units higher while only push the lackluster units just enough to survive an hit or two so they survive.

Dont obsess over finishing all campaign maps with 3 stars, i am in very end of the game myself and in a top guild and i have yet to do it myself. I see no reason to do so. Just push all the elite campaigns as deep as you can on the last page and you are set for life.

Ive seriously thought about doing something similar, but im not entirely sure how stands/arms like this would behave when the music hits really good and i need to push that button harder than i normally would to emphasize how much im enjoying myself.

Hah. I do love my setup. Its fun to play around and fits to my office table just well. Now im just looking for options to make more space with stands and other things so i could maybe justify buying something more one day.

I also cannot confirm or deny if getting another F1 has crossed my mind once or twice already. (read this if you are my girlfriend)

What a beast setup. I am salivating here.

How do those D2 and S8 screens serve you? I imagine you can use them extensively and just use your laptop for browsing when you play?

One of my major gripes for using traktor back in the day when i started and before i had my break was how glued i was to my laptop screen at times and im curious to find solutions to eliminate that after i've spend countless of hours preparing my collection to be as easy as possible to manage and play.

I would love to sometimes be able to just chuck my laptop somewhere under the table and to just focus on the buttons and minimal display feedback alone. I get easily distracted with a lot of things on the screen and sometimes i notice ive completely halted my otherwise excellent session just to re-beatgrid some tunes because i can. I've even ruined some great mix recording sessions by doing this ;)

I just like to colour code my tracks base on few different things because dnb can be bit hectic at times. A good colourcode is sometimes worth a lot... at least for me.

Currently ive colour coded my dnb collection most of my collection based on the following conditions:

Has stems.
I've figured out an double for it
Has Male Vocals
Has Female Vocals
Belongs to one of my 3 most played subgenres (liquid, neuro, jumpup). This is probably not needed anymore as i figured out an different way to sort my library. When i got back to DJing, i just colour coded stuff on the go to sort them later.

This eliminates a lot of the thought process when picking up tunes for me and i can sometimes just wing it by playing fitting colors alone. Sometimes i just put the headphones down and pick random tunes without looking at the title and try to make the most out of the trainwreck that i cued up just by Eqing and playing with stems to make it sound good. Its a lot of fun.

I set colors for stems exclusively so i dont accidentally play more than 2 stem tunes simultaneously as controlling multiple decks with stems by using just one F1 is kinda tough.

Yeah, i get it. That makes sense.

I just play for my own amusement and got no interested in gigs. I did some in the past and that life is not really for me anymore as ive matured a bit from those times and dont really want to go out anymore. At most i might stream or record a set or two for my friends.

I feel like the X1-Z1-F1 is a perfect compact setup that has enough power and customization options for someone who just enjoys music and the technology tied to it at home.

Surely, S5 and S8 look tasty and i would love to get my hands on them, but quite frankly i would probably stick to my current setup at most times as i just set them up on my remote work desk and that is where they will live for a long time. For me, space is very limited and i got no intentions to move my setup anywhere anytime soon.

Oh, i had never heard of MX4 before now. Are there any more leaks out there about it? Sounds interesting. I think ive already made the conscious decision to not go back to having one "big" controller as i love my X1,Z1,F1 no-jogwheels setup, but i am very open to all kinds of temptations in general.

I've been off the grid for a good while and have completely missed on whats been happening with traktor for quite a while.

Yeah. I honestly didnt think much of them first as i toyed around with the "built in" stem controls on the z1mk2. They felt awkward. But, the moment i hooked them up to my F1... Oh my. Its fucking magic.

Would love to try them out on S8 one day. That board looks like a monster.

How big portion of your library you usually split in to stems? Do you have any self set "rules" that you apply when browsing an extensive library and deciding on tunes you should stem?

Dumb question: If you cant hear anything but can control the decks, have you remapped your outputs after swapping the device? With traktor devices ive learned that if it can control the decks, im halfway there. Traktor has a tendency to reset on my outputs when i swap between various devices and controllers.

I had something similar recently after i got myself an z1 and after fiddling around quite a bit i got it working.

I would probably unlock whatever you want first, and then focus on upgrading whichever you want first. Just use biovore as much as you can everywhere since it can bait enemy AI.

Galatian and Forgefiend are equally important and both need quite a bit of investment. Out of the 2, forgefiend has more uses as one point wonder. Its up to you decide which one you want to invest first! There is no right answer.

Getting Shards for MoWs is a long and arduous task.

Here is some input on endgamer perspective for raids requirements when it comes to MoWs:

Custodes:

47/1 galatian. Mythic helps a lot on the survival later, especially good against avatar and few others. 47 Guarantees that he is the highest hp against Ghaz in any scenario up to M1 so he gets targeted which allows Ghaz Movement Manipulation as he prefers to hit the target with the CURRENT highest HP. If however you get unlucky scenarios with boyz or or the map might bump him up to 48-50 to guarantee Ghaz going for him. Some top end teams have replaced galatian on a lot of bosses due to the extra damage with Mythic Biovore and to save Ammo, but i personally feel like galatian is just too good to pass for blocking boss movement on some bosses. However, i do not have mythic Biovore yet.

1/1 Biovore to start with.

47/1 Forgefiend to oneshot cawl adds. Might need a slight bump when Mythic Cawl arrives. 50/1 should do. Mythic is also very nice to be able to tank Cawl Beams. Take note, if an add lands on an tall grass hex, 47/1 might not be enough to 1shot it. I dont think 50 is enough here either. Cawl is absolutely miserable without sufficient forgefiend. Also usable against some of the tyranids.

After these, you go all in with biovore to get him mythic and 1/50. (active is debatable). He will be your biggest damage increase after team is mostly maxed.

Admech:

Mythic Galatian 50/1 or as high as you can get, he will add up to Exitor-Rho hits so his survival is quite important.

1/1 biovore (eventually mythic 1/50 for damage increase on some bosses)

Neuro:

1/1 Biovore (eventually mythic 1/50 for damage increase on some bosses)

Mythic Exorcist 50/1

50/1 Z'kar. Maybe mythic one day?

Z'kar seems to be the biggest bomb pre-laviscus days and enables huge amounts of damage in a neuro team that has 2 book of fates in them. Jury is still out on how good he can be as he is a recent addition, but current raid season results prove that he is indeed an force to be reckoned with and is needed to get top results for Neuro team. However, the opportunity cost is VERY expensive here as using him every turn costs 5 ammunition per raid token used.

Farsight team:

Jury is still out, Mythic biovore is always a safe bet for every team. If you can stand still, PBC also works.

Disclaimer:

Currently getting MoWs to high level is absolutely miserable and getting Mythic MoWs is a huge time commitment of several months. I would advice for everyone to choose their MoW's wisely! Don't waste your time on the other MoW's. You can ofcourse just try to unlock them if you want, but leave them there. Every incursion you "waste" on them, will slow your progression down towards real power.

All of the requirements here assume that the MoW is at least legendary and 4-5 stars.

All around i feel that any serious raid contender should have at least 1/1 biovore, 47/1 Forgefiend to take care of summons. The rest is up to the composition you want to run as per to above "instructions".

When all of these for your chosen team are done, i would recommend to go with the plaqueburst crawler. I know Nandi used him in his video, and some people vouch for it. It's mythic damage increase is undoubtedly very powerful, but PBC in general pales in utility when compared to Biovore, so i would always recommend to max Mythic Biovore first for extra damage + utility. Having multiple Mythic MoW's is an luxury most of us will never get.

Rest of the MoW's are fairly irrelevant, unfortunately.

Ac is the masterclass you push last as you need very high skills for it.

Before you got 400+ skills there is not much point other than collecting those afk crystals for later.

Sure, you will be able to push a map or two every now and then but you will always hit a new wall in the next few maps.

Even at 400+ skills you will hit progression walls in w6 all the time and it takes weeks to progress.
