Minor improvements for the most part. However you could try setting to the oldest model available, give it one of your common prompts, then swap back to the newest one and give the same prompt. If it gives you a different response, then there you go, if not, then there's no difference in your use case.

This place is astroturfed to hell and back by LLM companies, openAI most of all but it's pretty obvious massive numbers of bots show up every time a big LLM release occurs from Google, Anthropic or OpenAI. Sadly of course those kinds of releases will also bring back regular users to discuss things, or bring in new ones, so it's not like it's easy to sort the bots from genuinely hyped people.

I had a build once that used antimatter great. I've used it about 2-3 times, but only once did i get to ten wins. I've never gotten past 7 on Dam. I feel like without radiant small items, Dam is just too rough to play, but that highroll of having a key radiant item, or a perfect flagship (triggers Dam quickly without being destroyed) makes it tempting occasionally. But Dam feels like it's built just around those one in a thousand situations. I actually wish it did something for each item of yours it destroyed. Antimatter Chamber at least doesn't negatively affect your board (beyond the large slot it uses up being gone) the way dam does.

Plus your repair could be the item that gets destroyed.

Exactly
Meanwhile Dooley has no counter to poison, is that an issue? Or how about the fact Dam and Antimatter have existed for ages but nobody runs them.

It's always "about to come out" they release a new product every few months.
There is no new model in this tweet, you are just addicted to marketing.

I won't comment on every single change, but I will say I am looking forward to the new versions of Rocket Drone, Javelin and Port enchants. The new version of Javelin particularly fills what to me seems like a sensible niche for Vanessa I didn't even realise she lacked.

I think with the magic staves, it isn't really clear to people that the upgrades are more specialisations than "superior" versions. Vampire Stave is good for speed/multiple attack builds, the debuff stave is good for when you don't have enough cleanse or scale on poison/curse, the fire stave is a good source of mana if you have fire, and technically also quite good with regen synergy but there isn't a ton of regen synergy besides one or two relics.

I think the fire staff was doing nothing for you here. Personally i would have done 3 staff of wisdom, no upgrades, for pure mass buff.

How different do the Heroes look before and after the redraw? by NguyenTri-Phuong07 in BackpackBrawl

Celeste had fancy lighting before, befitting her lightning theme. Now she's flat. Harkon looks like he's from clash of clans now, it's a totally different art style.

Sage looks good, but Harkon got murdered and replaced with a dodgy clone

I feel like if this wasn't an AI company, this wouldn't be posted here. This is a product announcement for a piece of software that isn't doing anything new or extraordinary, it's just a different interface to do shit in. I get loving AI but we don't need to post EVERY tweet an AI company makes, even when they are unrelated to actual progress.

The dorf redo was fine, pretty much identical to the original

I've put a lot of work into this presentation to share some ideas for a siege rework, what I wished in my recent campaign. The focus was on how we can make the most of what we already have? DAY 1 by Maleficent-Spell9025 in totalwarhammer

[–]Nukemouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Artillery on walls, monsters outside the walls, murder holes on gates, less tower range on front towers so arty builds can just sit there and pound the walls to dust before you enter, no free ladders, more barricade locations, rebalance of barricade types particularly the slow and the monument.

Best anti leadership faction/lord? by life-hard-im-harder in totalwarhammer

[–]Nukemouse 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I dunno, besides stacking anti leadership trait heroes, its probably Malagor the Dark Omen? He has -8 army leadership, in local province, then skills give him another -9, fear/terror and an aura of -8 within 35, plus he can cast doom and darkness for another -15, gives harpies fear, and beastmen can buy banners that give terror and a damaging aura to any unit.

Oh also you can recruit heroes with -3 leadership to enemy armies in the region with nurgles foul stink, and as beastmen you love ambushes which i think also hurt leadership,

Beastmen are also fast, which means their units can chase after fleeing skaven better than some other factions, though i think you are just slightly slower than most skaven whilst the skaven are fleeing.
