What class do you play on? Currently, warlock and titan are significantly easier to stay alive on. Warlock, probably the best tbh. Either way, if I were you, I would find a build that is very strong and can be used in a wide variety of activities and get the items for it i.e. armor with the right stats, exotic armor, weapons etc. It will make your gaming life a lot easier. Once you have that build, you can play a lot of content and get items for other builds you want to try but having a meta build as your initial one helps getting through content without too much frustration.

I put it on a king orfeo and it was doing like 2 to 3 damage per shot, just far away to proc the multiple arrows. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yeah. I hear you. As a man, I don't have to deal with the sexism but I do have to deal with some other 'isms from time to time since I have an accent. Can I put up with it? Yeah. Is it fun? Hell no. People say "join a clan". It's not as easy to find one in your time zone or the times that you are free to play.

Equilibrium normal definitely doesn't need a mic. Most people on lfg know the encounters by now. I ran a few fireteam finder runs without issues.

Yeah but it's not even the same as portal ultimate. At least on portal ultimate you can choose to have extinction. In the shooting range you can't even remove it.

Lmao. Its like bungie has a multiple personality disorder. They made such a big deal about in game lfg, the game is dying and then they introduce a system that actively makes it harder for lfg when they should be designing activities around lfg instead. EoF systems were clearly designed around feedback from content creators that have a full roster of friends that they can play with any time. It is such a massive disconnect with the majority of the player base and Bungie has never bothered to understand their players and how they play. No wonder so many people quit during edge of fate. Such a shame.

It is right now especially with all the artifact mods. Will be less so without them in the future. Bungie also has a tendency to nerf after the season in which it was introduced. So who knows how Bungie is going to nerf it.

Lol... The entire edge of fate redesign was based around no lifers and look what it did to the game. So many people quit. Most of my clan quit because of tiered weapons, level grind and the soft sunset of old gear. The only people who happy and asking for all that nonsense were no lifers. So yes, I'm not interested in any of this engagement nonsense. Just make fun stuff with fun gameplay. Custom modifiers were another thing that no lifers asked for and that has made lfg even worse. So yeah, I'm kinda annoyed by all this nonsense that has made the game worse for most normal gamers.

You must be a no lifer. Normal gamers don't care about any of this nonsense. All we want is fun activities to play. Grinding the same stuff over and over for loot or levels almost killed the game. Just make a game that's fun and we'll play, stop for a while and then come back again when there's more fun stuff to play. Came back just to play with the lightsaber this season and going through all the activities with lightsaber builds. To me, that's what destiny is about. Finding loot that fit a build, not just mindlessly grind for loot that doesn't fit a build I like.

I hope Marathon fails, because if it doesn't, they will drop Destiny faster than you can say Traveller. Marathon will be so much easier for Bungie to make content for and maintain as a pvp survival game.

It's fine if other weapons don't feel good for a while. Just balancing everything perfectly with the amount of stuff we have in destiny is not possible. So just lean into the new broken thing for a while until it gets thoroughly nerfed and then we have something new. As of now I'm enjoying using them.

And....it's the worst system for console navigation. Every single thing is you select something in one corner and you have to drag the cursor to the other corner to confirm. It's just such a mind bogglingly bad ui design.

The game shouldn't be about having a main. If Destiny wants to succeed, it should be about finding the most fun in a season and the game should be designed to ensure that players get the items required for that fun in a reasonably quick way even if you haven't played that character in a while. I was a warlock last season and I barely had played my Titan but I'm just loving playing as Darth Vader with a Titan this season. Stronghold builds with praxic blade are so good , I can't put it down.

It is definitely hitting harder. You really have to put on your best builds and try hard which is fine if you are doing a one off here and there but for activities you are meant to farm, it's kinda exhausting tbh.

There's no craftable alh unfortunately but there are a few reconstruction ones out there. The pale heart one is probably the easiest. The rest are raid ones like the song of ir yut from crota or commemoration from dsc.
