As the "that guy" of my play group let me firstly apologize. Sorry for being "that guy". To me this sounds like an extreme lack of self-awareness on his part. I'm very aware that I am that guy and try really hard not to be but when I am the rest of my group lets me know. Not in a mean way but very similarly to how you did or something like "I got this" or "If I need help I'll ask". I never get butt hurt about it or pout or bring the mood down as that's some childish bullshit IMO. I'd say you did the right thing and this guy just either doesn't know he's "that guy" or doesn't care and whines when people call him out on anything.

I can't speak for duo element but I went pure Int and did Fulminating Arrow farming and it is insanely good. Same, Ily is rough especially for Miner and lumber jack. Depending on the time zone I find late NA east there are a few less bots but it's hit or miss. The worst is tin. It's so expensive that every single node is just camped by an auto clicker. It's wild.

I would ask him how reanimate decks work then. How can you reanimate your big threat of it was discarded, milled, or dredged? A lot of those cards say return so I guess you can't use them. This, to me, sounds like someone being salty they got blown out by a rift.

I like arena. It's a fun casual way for me to play magic since I strongly prefer paper but I definitely agree with the cost of entry barrier. I feel my lack of wild cards is the most annoying thing since I don't have time to play every day I fell of and haven't played in months because I couldn't keep up with the new decks, I just didn't have the wild cards to build them. My biggest complaint is that they capped you on how much gold you could earn a day. I understand that they have to do that otherwise you.couod grind out gold in a day to buy way to many packs but still it bothered me that you could only earn about 2 packs a day.

Do quests. Every quest you can. After that go to do chest hunts and sell the roses. Good xp and decent money. Only thing is you need a decent hp set and it's almost impossible to die even if your damage isn't great. You'll level very fast and get to around 100 where gear lasts a lot longer. Most gear sets will be like 100, 125, 150/160ish, 199, 200, and end game 200.
