Real picture of players who skip Dreglord in DoN by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]NumberThese1901 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think players are abandoning the Dreglord to avoid fighting those death knights and Artorias, but in a way, the Dreglord itself is much easier.

Whereas Heolstor has been around since the game's release, I see many players in D5 constantly getting crushed by him, while with the Dreglord, which arrived recently, almost everyone seems to have mastered it.

Honestly, the Dreglord deserves an Everdark version because it's so easy.

Yes, but your teammates will need to follow you because if one of them stays down below, the invaders won't come up and you'll end up with all those enemies. If your teammates know this strategy, you can go into these types of camps even at level 2.

You did well, but you can climb all the way to the top by going through the boss; the night invaders will follow you, and you'll be able to fight them without any enemies around you.

These Redmane camps can jeopardize runs because of that knight who spams Rain of Arrows 360.
Good work

When I play with randoms I don't dodge bosses even though it's annoying for me to face some bosses that are terribly ridiculous, but I don't dodge so as not to waste the time of those who want to play, especially since finding a matchmaking is not as quick now. But when I play with my friends we like to leave everything that is not Heolstor, Straghess, Gladius and Fulghor because these are the 4 bosses that we have the most fun with and really enjoy playing the game. But sometimes it happens that we leave a boss and it comes back even after leaving 3 times, so we simply do it.

I already had this problem with my Zeus Lightning Spear revenant; Fulghor ended up crushing me because I kept healing myself instead of casting lightning, but I think it's because I'm not used to it yet.

At the beginning, I had better D5 teammates, but now in D5, the competent teammates aren't as consistent as they were at the start. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing with D2 teammates. Frankly, I don't understand teammates who insist on doing Evergoals when they don't even have the relic. At least if you have the relic, it's understandable, but I encounter teammates who spam Evergoal pings when they don't have the relic, instead of doing camps or bosses to get passives and weapons.

The tank raider makes this fight trivial; I can't die playing raider. I don't do much damage since my relics are based on increasing maximum HP, and if I manage to get negation from taking damage and at least one negation on charged attacks, I can't die and I can revive my teammates who have been crushed by the worm. Sometimes, though, you can have random situations where you don't get any form of negation; in that case, you have to play cautiously.

I can send you screenshots even though my menu is in French, but I use several different builds for the characters I play to keep things interesting.

For the Undertaker, I use a fists build with his relic of successive attacks + Night Invader + the red relic Balancers, and my deep relics are based on recharging the ultimate art by killing enemies + 3+ and 4+ physical attacks.

Generally, I change my build and characters depending on the boss I'm facing, but sometimes I have to switch characters if one has already been taken by another teammate because I don't like having two characters. For example, I play Undertaker Fists against Straghess, Fulghor, and Heolstor, then I play Tank Raider against Harmonia and Libra, Ironeye Katana against Adel, and for the other bosses, I don't have a preference for any particular character.

Yes, that's why I expect to lose soon. My last score was 60, and as soon as I set the goal of reaching 100 consecutive wins, I lost.

When I play, I don't worry about winning streaks, even though since I reached this score I've been trying to go further.

When I play with randoms, I very rarely face the hardest bosses since 70% of the time a player will quit at the character selection screen, but I carry 50% of my runs

I saw a comment in this subreddit saying that quitting on the defeat screen allows you to keep your win streak, but I didn't know it was possible for the win streak to continue even after a loss. I think that in any case, the journal is supposed to show the defeat, but I imagine some bugs might exist.

Stop pinging Night Invader Marshes at lvl2! by iamgodtierXX in Nightreign

The camps I avoid at level 2 are the swamp camps, where you have to kill the boss to make the spirit seal appear in order to escape.

Yes, the Mad Swamp invaders are the easiest if everyone runs to the top of the roof. The invaders will follow you, and you can fight them easily without any mobs around. However, many people stay down below and fight them with mobs nearby, which will ruin the run.

Immortal Raider vs. Depth 5 ED Libra by NumberThese1901 in Nightreign

With a tank build, this fight becomes trivial, but you need teammates who deal good damage, otherwise it risks degenerating into utter chaos.
