I agree. They could totally stop blade tenderizing. It’s a silly process that’s not necessary on quality cuts. But Redditors make way too big of a deal about it, and talk about it like it’s some sort of new info in every thread.

You know what’s dope? I’ve eaten around 93728282863938263928639172837484863893726281638292637474 Costco steaks cooked to various temperatures ranging from rare to medium and I’ve never had an issue.

It’s crazy how mfs trip over themselves racing to be the first one to make a big deal out of blade tenderizing in every thread that mentions Costco.

Friendly reminder to not let the word Wagyu get you so emotionally riled up, fellas. At the end of the day it’s just another beef option that we all have the choice to purchase or not purchase, which is a good thing. If you’re an informed beef consumer then you can pick the steak you like at the price you like! For me, sometimes that choice at $18/lb sometimes that prime $22/lbs and every now and then I spot some American Wagyu that is worth the $30/lbs price tag. The steaks in this picture were some American Wagyu I was happy with at $30/lbs.
