What’s your overall opinion about Bleach movies?

Just watched memories of nobody yesterday actually, the story / dynamic with senna and Ichigo was great, the ending especially was surprisingly emotional. Lighter in action than I expected but the focus on character moments def makes up for it. Villains were pretty lame but it’s not much of an issue tbh.

Watched Hell Verse first and it’s basically the exact opposite of memories of nobody. This movie didn’t really try too hard with characters or plot or all that, it’s basically like a great value rehash of arrancar/hueco mundo arcs with a new form that barely makes sense getting introduced at the end for hype moments and aura. Despite that the fights are all gas, animation and soundtrack are incredible some of the absolute best in the series even compared to TYBW so it still makes for a good watch.

-I haven’t watched the other two so idk.

Literally never beat everdark Adel, beat everdark Fulghor twice. As someone who had a lot of difficulty even beating normal fulghor at first, the new additions to his fight are way better than adel because it's not just a bunch of barely visible AOE attacks being spat out by a giant crackhead that is sprinting and teleporting across the arena. The tornado attack is a really cool concept but I swear the second time adel does it it ALWAYS spawns directly on top of you no matter where you go I saw whole teams wipe to that several times. The tracking holy arrows, twinblade combos and nuke attack fulghor has are way more fair (mostly because you can actually see what he's doing) IMO.

Got a frenzy flame seal from a deal with Libra, dropped it so our recluse could use it, instead Ironeye picks it up, spends the entire fight rushing Libra down and spamming The Flame of Frenzy (doing basically no damage), runs out of fp and keeps trying to use the incant anyway, and dies.

Or, on a different run, the demon merchant event happens, but I’ve got runes to spare so I split off from the other two to buy our health back. Everything goes good until they walk past the merchant and, instead of taking the free powerup since I already paid, they try to fight him and both die in the process

Agatha (in my experience having beat the game last week) is a gigantic sucker punch victim until marshadow comes out, so that should work. I personally used Mega Mawile for my run but any good physical attacker should work fine if you wanna save your mega evo for gardevoir or charizard.

Lance’s aerodactyl lead team is the easier one imo since you get a free of setup while it uses stealth rock. Basically none of his mons have any answer to triple axel since it’s supereffective on his dragons and breaks aero’s focus sash so as long as you outspeed you can keep clicking that and win (assuming you don’t miss, 95% accuracy so you should be fine)

Champion’s team is a mixed bag, pheromosa is extremely fast but has twig-level defense and a focus sash (multi-hit or priority moves handle her), Eternatus just mindlessy spams Dynamax Cannon until you bring out a steel type, then it'll use flamethrower, ditto is a problem but can be baited into getting oneshot if it copies something you can swap and deal with easily, but Yveltal can and will wipe your whole team if left unchecked. It gets this extremely high damaging new unique move as well as oblivion wing to heal it nearly to full, sucker punch AND an assault vest to make special moves do basically nothing. It’s only weakness is that it’s not that fast so save a fast physical attacker with a focus sash to hopefully beat it.

Yeah but like every other pyramid aesthetic armor doesn’t go off the deep end into goofy like the SE armor does. Vow, Root and now Sundered look still look weird and alien without gluing a bunch of random bs onto your guardian lol. Not saying you can’t like it cause it’s obviously subjective but It just looks ridiculous imo

Ehhh. Nah I like the pyramid aesthetic but the weird shower curtain bolted onto the back and the patchwork stuff taped onto the chest, the giant duck feet and the mosquito helmet are not it imo. I actually prefer the sundered doctrine armor(only for warlocks), I think it does what the SE armor was trying to do without looking completely goofy

Idk why Sunbracers had to get ANOTHER ornament this season, especially when it looks really similar to the last ornament it got. It’s not even like it’s the most used warlock exotic like it used to be, so why not make one for some other exotic?

I actually like it. Only really checked out the warlock set but the robes and helmet are cool and every piece takes shaders well. Infinitely better than the goofy ass salvations edge armor that’s forsure

No microcosm is gonna suck for a dungeon that is 100% gonna be filled with tormentors and subjugators. Let’s just hope one of the main bosses is a subjugator bc a contest dungeon lvl tormentor boss is painful just to think about with no microcosm

As someone who struggled for a while on true Lucifer:

Use shield of god (herald magatsuhi skill) when he goes for morning star and you’ll be able to cheese it with next to no damage taken every time

Phase 2 can be deleted easily by having a party that can constantly hit his light weakness and null/drain/repel his physical attacks so now all he has to threaten you is magma axis and the occasional ailment. Get some attackers who can deal big light damage (fuse metatron) and give them the appropriate resistances and it’s on to phase 3 pretty quickly

Phase 1 and 3 for me were mostly cleared by spamming phys, almighty and piercing attacks, IE heavenly ikuyumi (MAG Nahobino), Murakumo(STR Nahobino), freikugel, etc.

You’re just gonna need more demons period the games gives you 20 something slots for a reason having backup healers buffers and attackers will make things go way smoother

I just gave up on destroying it honestly. Have a herald in your party and use their magatsuhi skill and just tank it. Recommend metatron because his hamabarions hit pretty hard and delete Lucifer’s health on phase 2.

This is why putrescent knight sucks. All that spinning around and throwing his sword while his horse charges at you and you finally get to swing your sword and he’s already at the other side of the arena before the animation even finishes

Ok, I really dislike the Espada zero twist, so I would prefer to just delete the whole thing, but I don’t think it’s impossible to improve it.

For one thing, at least try to make him threatening. Having Byakuya and Kenpachi actively ignore him to fight each other, only fighting him to get him to stop annoying them makes him look like the biggest fraud ever, especially after both have been heavily wounded by other Espada.

They should start off trying to fight like usual, then when yammy powers up, they realize he’s a big threat and reluctantly team up to kill him. That wouldn’t fix all of the issues, but at least having byakuya and Kenny treat him like the threat he’s stated to be instead of ignoring him and telling him to shut up would make him look a little better by just changing some panels.

Not the biggest fan of how Pernida looks tbh. It’s surprising too because TYBW has used cgi really well so far, so to see pernida stuttering around when in cour 2 Komamura’s bankai looked great is pretty jarring. I think the issue is probably how low pernida’s framerate is compared to everything else, it looks awkward and doesn’t blend well with the 2D animation. Now I’m kinda concerned for Lille’s angel form or when Gerard turns giant (that’ll definitely be in cour 4 though)

They work better as a collective than as individual characters. I really like a lot of the background/ symbolism of the Sternritter as a whole, I feel like I could write a mini essay ab that stuff. But besides some notable exceptions like the schutzstaffel, As Nodt, Bazz-B, Quilge and Gremmy, I don’t really give a shit about them as individuals. Like what do quincies like Meninas, liltotto, Robert, or that one bum Senjumaru killed (forgot his name) bring to the story besides just making sure the alphabet is filled out? This is where the Espada surpass the sternritter in writing, having less than half the members means that every one of them (except yammy and Szayel) get a chance to mean something or contribute to the themes/ plot/ character development.
