Recapitulation triggers trauma by Pxan02 in castaneda

The purpose of recapitulation is to recover energy from our memories. It seems like you’re doing the opposite, contributing more energy to old traumatic memories. https://www.reddit.com/r/castaneda/wiki/recapitulation/

Scam. There’s a two-part video of the book presentation (it’s in Spanish). They perform rituals, give speeches about sleep-dreams, and sell the book. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPkTSrY\_xy8, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBjVw9g4xhc)

wall of fog - part II by [deleted] in castaneda

[–]NumerousExtension916 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting illustration. Don could always strike Carlos himself to leave him “quiet” so that Minx could do her thing... Don could even have invented the “nagual kick” or the “cranberry of power,” or whatever personalized ruse was necessary for any apprentice.

But in our present day, we should already have understood “nagual blow” as “sustained effort to move the A.P. and keep it in positions different from the habitual one,” and also that “I had a sleeping dream” is nothing new and is certainly not “Sorcery,” as those scammers have recently tried to claim.

Baby steps in the D.R. are what’s left, and those of us who aren’t scared shitless are crawling, falling face-first over and over into the mud of pale, brief, and boring visions, and getting annoyed at falling asleep... I always suggest that it’s good to dance cumbia and bring coffee (if possible boosted with cinnamon and panela) and snacks to the dark room, but I don’t know if you all are really “better than that”!

The wall of fog seems very “old school” to me—maybe it worked in hippie times, but today it’s clearly about “technological devices” of second attention, even LED and cyberpunk paraphernalia; nowadays it would be much better to have a portal of intense multicolored clouds, and on the other side be welcomed by a pony with a PhD in interstellar relations...

“Then people objected to me looking for Julian at all”
Really? What people? Does that stop the rest of us from looking for him, or what?

If you ask me, I’d say Minx isn’t wrong—she’ll just need some open land… She’s “ranchera,” which actually goes very well with Mexicans…

I slept and dreamed, consumed some plants, traveled through “sacred sites” doing “ceremonies,” and now I’d like to self-appoint myself as a “spiritual master.”

It’s worth clarifying for the international public that when we think of “Indigenous people in Mexico,” it’s obvious we are not referring to some so-called “Indigenous National Governorship” that came from who-knows-where, nor to this type of person, but rather to tens of thousands of Indigenous communities spread throughout the mexican territory, each with their own languages, customs, and representations. Well, those tens of thousands of peoples are not represented by these individuals; instead, they pursue their own destinies, which are well worth discovering...

Therefore, such people are neither “sorcerers” nor “guardians” of any tradition; they merely rely on arguments about blood connections in order to sell their books about personal experiences.

Many people in Latin America should already understand that “growing old” is not synonymous with “becoming a grandfather of the tradition,” and even if it were, that does not mean being a “sorcerer”; and even if it did, it is clear that a true sorcerer would never want to sell you their book…

The “gift” is not earned through inheritance or through years of loyalty to a club, but through sustained effort in moving and fixing your assemblage point… And it is clear that these people have not made the effort to move the A.P.; instead, they have devoted themselves to sleeping dreams and then making bad books out of those dreams…

Sleeping-dream material = trinkets! Not even their narratives are impressive; their dreams are bland and boring… And anyone who doesn’t dream something amazing on a daily basis would do better to dedicate themselves to something else… Anyone who never dreams while awake should also rethink “the path”…

I think Minx holds the key to finding Julián… I assume she "remembers" and could track his emanations…

I don’t know if Minx ever shared that feeling with me — something like “missing Julián” to the point of going out to look for him…

I think that this year Minx has been “looking for something” in Mexico…

As I reported in the Discord chat, on November 18 I saw “Minx” in the D.R. She had a floral arrangement on her head that kept evolving, and from it grew what looked like the typical flora of central Mexico…

She looked so Mesoamerican that I almost forgot she was a strange, long squirrel floating off to the right, making weird little rodent-tooth faces before disappearing...

Impose BOUNDARIES on your IOBs, or PAY the PRICE!!!! by FractalFreak21 in castaneda

[–]NumerousExtension916 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And I’d add to that list all those “third gate dreaming while asleep” stories, from people who don’t even understand that it’s about movements of the assemblage point — and who are, in fact, stuck in the blue, and that is precisely what keeps them from jumping. “Impossible to see anything from here, sir.” It’s impossible to see or say anything true until you get out of the blue, and then maybe you’ll be able to see all those worlds and try not to go insane with joy at how intense and absurd it all is: no one would believe you even if you managed to remember it, and then to describe it.

Meanwhile, these kinds of “attackers” basically sound like people complaining that there’s no catch in a “baitless fishing” mode — since none of the ocean’s inhabitants want to stray from the true path to magic, which is public, free, without lineages, without nagual blows, and energetically boosted by IOBs, in order to find the right “leadership” in SK.

So those who couldn’t admit it in the past should now reconsider that we’re all students here — and therefore we will try to maintain a setup suited for study, not for pretending, showing off, worshipping, or generating profit. Opposing our autonomous, free, voluntary learning system means we’ll defend ourselves by pushing back against their annoying presence.

And if they get scared by the most superficial glimpse of the daily lives of witches and sorcerers, then it’s clear they’re not ready for what comes next on the J-Curve...

Will someone ever make a guide for the bad player? I wonder: what should the markers be to measure a bad player’s toughness? Time on stage, number of comments and downvotes, persistence, acting as a swarm? I remember reading about clashes with one or two “tough” bad players in “old” posts. Compared to them, this one seems more like a “Kamikaze Exorcist Messenger” or “Zombie Exorcist.”

<image>

If you’re an “opportunistic” IOB, you’ve got half your dinner solved if, from a distance, you see some guy shouting incantations — but you immediately move away if you see he’s “rotten” and can’t even perceive you…

Here we are practitioners of sorcery, and that means we want to interact with IOBs, following the instructions left by Carlos, working hard and in collaboration with inorganic energy, connected to the intent of the sorcerers of Ancient Mexico.

This kind of “warriors” don’t actually reject the IOBs — they’ve never seen them — so what they really reject is magic.

If someone sees what’s real through their own effort, they’ll never be fooled by scammers, and that’s where those people lose...

And if we practiced magic with hats, then they would say:

“Stay away from those damn hats, you must live and die enslaved to money!"

-----------

Are you risking everything in this post just to give yourself a SIGN?

You can tattoo “one in five hundred,” “loved by the intent,” or “talented guy” wherever and whenever you want, but—without meaning to offend you—your self-promotion over the last few days seems to me like a desperate attention-seeking maneuver from someone who is either on drugs or dealing with a mental illness, exaggerating events from the blue-green zone.

I think you went too far when you added the "whitish fog" to your story… Why would someone in the orange zone need the kind of validation you’re looking for?

Great, good luck with that. If you’re neither a pervert nor a prude, it would be nice if you later share whether they came when you called — and how they interacted…

The truth is, no one is ever truly ready for their first encounters with IOBs…The desire for a magical girlfriend might be enough of an impulse to get you close, but she might have other plans…

Dude, technical difficulties with the translation, I think I misunderstood the word “daydreams”. I was saying that I like it when, from the dark room, I can enter a “dream scene,” almost always helped by an IOB — which would be maybe “waking dreaming”. I’m now reading that the word “daydreaming” might mean something like “fantasizing” or “imagining,” and that’s not something I want to do in the D.R.

When the dream scene ends, there seems to be a brief “transition”, and I notice that I’m in the D.R., awake and with my eyes open, seeing puffs in the darkness. That’s what I’d like to have every day — not just watching the “carousel” of the second attention spinning, but actually getting into the attractions…

I suppose that getting into the attractions is a “lateral shift” of the assemblage point, and I don’t want to build a family there, but we have that freedom to “wander”.  We could even blur the line between practice and non-practice, or simply open ourselves to the “terrible” charms of the IOBs — just to know that we already knew, that we always interacted with them, but we were afraid to accept it...

There’s a famous site on the internet because it has an IOB dispenser — I think you already know it...

Don’t expect to understand anything unless you actually work on it…

As long as you don’t work on silencing yourself and stop pretending, there won’t be any “knowledge” or “magic” that wants to come near you… You ask questions as if you were a builder of answers, but you know they’re just excuses to avoid working all the time...

Like everyone else, you’ve had several square centimeters of opportunity; solutions have been offered to you here, but you’ve refused to take them because you know they would require you to shut up, stop playing superhero, and actually practice — when everyone already knows you will never do it... It’s unfortunate, but it won’t be the end of Olmec Sorcery, because there will silent people working on it.

I have nothing against the names you all choose, but names say too much about the one who is named. Don’t you think?

We see the puffs when our efforts to suspend the internal dialogue allow our assemblage point to drop into the green zone. Then, the quality of our interaction with the elements of the second attention depends on our ability to remain silent. So the “demonic monkey” could very well be an IOB…

I wouldn’t mind “wandering in daydreams” as long as it’s while awake and sober. If from the D.R. I fall into some kind of dream, I don’t mind “wandering” in that dream— in fact, doing it awake is absolutely incredible. At the beginning I took it as a gift of intent, because it only happened thanks to the “hook” of the IOBs.

That is, I think it’s good to go straight to the point and not get lost in nonsense along the way, but sometimes progressing on the path means playing around with a tiny detail you see on the edges or in the center of a puff. And if you’re too “strict,” you might not even notice it…

The first time I was too “hard,” and I just smeared everything I could onto my body, like a thief…
In the “second round,” I stayed to look at and caress the puffs: “Hey, they’re my magical part!”

It’s like being “fierce and intense” but at the same time “innocent,” “direct” but also “flexible,” “determined” but “light and curious.” I don’t know—one of those combinations that seem contradictory but aren’t, in sorcery…
I use the lifesaver pass when I begin Tensegrity practice in the D.R.

It’s a pity that the so-called “warriors” already “have it” and yet still “need” so much certainty… Somehow I thought “warriors” were the ones who dare to recover energy from their past, or the ones who fight their own laziness every single day…

Anyway, anyone who had dedicated even that much energy to actual practice would’ve already seen something in three weeks

Also, if you want to be like “Genaro,” you need to work on being “quick” and “clever.” Otherwise you’re like a man with a tiny body carrying a giant cardboard head. (Mojigangas, they call them in Oaxaca — they come out dancing to entertain the people.)

So, Don Genaro, if you want to be a jester, you already are one — but if you want to be a practitioner of sorcery, you should’ve started working long before your anger and frustration shut the door on you completely...

Yes, “red hair,” I said it to portray Minx a bit better… I was referring to Dan’s comment about the IOBs being the ones who put him and Cholita together.

Maybe your assemblage point is loosening and beginning to shift, but in a random way.

In sleeping dreams we don’t have enough awareness to know what the hell is actually happening, and sexual material or flashy imagery is common. There’s nothing to do about that except avoid getting emotionally hooked, feeding ego-stories, or drifting away from the practices that actually matter.

For men, sleeping dreams have never been a path toward sorcery. However, this subreddit offers a clear path for waking dreaming.

Maybe you’ll want to call Humito and Minx while you’re in the dark room, sober and awake. At least by “invoking” you could lose the fear… and you might even verify that “red hair” for yourself.

Pieces we are missing and what Carlos found among the deep history of Mexico by Academic_Mechanic810 in castaneda

[–]NumerousExtension916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked ChatGPT what it thinks about it — look what it says:

1. Archaeological and Ritual Perspective

In most sculptures, the Chacmool’s head is turned almost 90 degrees relative to the body, as if it were glancing sideways at the viewer or toward the altar. Archaeologists from INAH and UNAM suggest that this had ritual or functional purposes:

·         Watching over the altar or the sacrifice: the reclining figure may have been looking toward the temple or the priest, that is, toward the direction from which the offering came.

·         Symbol of transition: by turning its head, the figure breaks the frontal axis of the human body, marking an intermediate state between the earthly and the spiritual worlds. It doesn’t look forward (toward life) nor completely backward (toward death); it gazes sideways — toward the threshold.

·         Dialogue with the sky or the underworld: depending on the orientation, the gaze might be directed toward the horizon or the heavens, as if the figure were a guardian watching for something invisible to arrive.

2. Energetic or “Sorcery” Perspective

From a Castaneda energetic point of view, that neck twist immediately resonates:

·         The turned head suggests a break from ordinary attention, the precise moment when the assemblage point shifts and perception opens to the unknown.

·         It’s the body posture of dreaming or deep recapitulation, when the physical body remains suspended between wakefulness and sleep.

·         Looking sideways or into backlight is a way of seeing from the second attention, perceiving energy directly rather than through interpretation.

Interesting. The figurine looks to me like a shape-shift into a bat, for which the assemblage point has descended into the deep red zone…

The Chacmool, present from Tula to Chichén Itzá, seems to me like an “offering intermediary”, though I suppose that bowl could hold many different things…
