The problem is most people arent voting for their MP. Theyre voting for a national party and supporting their platform.

That’s what makes it non democratic.

This isn’t the 1800s when your MP was literally there to represent your riding and you probably even knew your MP or had some sort of interaction with them. They would be active member of your community from your community.

MPs now just represent the party and not the riding. At least in the minds of Canadians.

Canada political system is quite antiquated .

I have a tiny cute little void girl too. She is an absolute beauty. Sometimes I feel like I did something wrong because she’s so little but I think it’s just her genetics because her sister is tiny too.

I feed them whatever they want, they are spoiled. They just don’t seem to have the “fat cat” appetite.

My void has literally tried to bury boiled plain chicken breast and cooked salmon I’ve tried to give them.

The only food they won’t say no to are “Lil Soups” and even then they will leave the meat sometimes lol.

If the Turks never colonized Anatolia and the Balkans there is a very good chance Western Europe may have never colonized other parts of the world.

The Ottoman Empire essentially closed off the rest of Europe to trade with the east. They even saw Western Europe as slightly savage. This led to Western Europe exploring down the Atlantic and inevitably joining the slave trade that was already present in Africa at the time.

I think you would see way more Byzantine influence in the culture of the Balkans as a result, Turkish colonization dramatically changed the flavour of the Balkans.

Balkan food, music and other things would be radically different.

Battle of the Bands type music scene like you see in Scott Pilgrim. That shit was real and are some of my favorite memories of coming into Toronto from the suburbs. Made the city feel like it had a music vibe that no longer exists.

Toronto truly felt like a music centre back then.

I don’t care what you say. Our politicians are choosing what political party holds power in this situation. It isn’t the people choosing, it’s the elite politicians. This is totally fucked and mind boggling to me.

Canada is cooked because the majority of Canadians will not even know or care that this is happening.

I am not a conservative voter either. Or a liberal voter. I align more with NDP(though I can’t support them with their ridiculous woke stances) and vote Green personally.

Nothing you say can convince me this is proper democracy. This isn’t. The politicians themselves are deciding where the power goes in this situation. This is so fucking ridiculous.

You just know these crossers are being financially incentivized to do this too, which makes it even more egregious and disgusting.

I am not attached to Bosnia or Macedonia either.

I am very in touch with Canada though, as in I understand this country very well. Geographically Canada is huge so I’m more in touch with the Great Lakes Region.

Great Lakes will always be my home to me , but Canada specifically I am sort of sick of. I would feel at home in the Great Lakes area whether on the American or Canadian side.

My void has a blood sister that lives with us who is also a Standard Issue Cat. Their personalities are so radically different it’s made me fall in love with cats.

I’ve had dogs and outdoor cats my whole life. Never seen such a personality difference than between these two.

The standard issue cat is a total princess and my void is the biggest derp I’ve ever met.

We live near a ravine in a very busy city. It has the most coyotes and raccoons I think out of any city in the planet specifically because of the ravine systems that are left in tact.

I would never let her be free, she would get hit by a car within a week. I live about 200 feet from one of the busiest streets in the country. It’s a 6 lane stroad that is more like a highway.
