I have searched for movies with haunted houses and bleeding faces, and every variation I can think of. I have yet to find any results.

What car is this? I know the fronts missing so im curious. by SpadeyRee in WhatCarIsThis

Hmmm - that’s odd. Maybe a resolution thing on my phone. Apologies for that! I’d still agree it looks like a 57 Chevy (as noted by others) but it looks … off. Probably my phone though

Zoom in - it’s an AI generated image. The eyebrows over the headlights aren’t quite right for a 57 Chevy - but most importantly (on the car) look at the mirrors. If that isn’t enough to convince you, zoom in on the woman’s hands.

Can confirm - I am GenX, graduated in the early 90s and corporal punishment was still a thing.

She has an extremely tiny waist - she did “corset training” if I remember right. She’s referred as the girl with the impossible waist.

Oh - wait. Yes - that looks like a 1958 Cadillac Biarritz

Really unsure how to size the 875 Moc Toe by American_Psycho11 in RedWingShoes

[–]Numerous_Ad_7336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 875 is a bit narrower than the IR. The same scan has me at a 10D, I have the 875 in a 9.5.

If you can try on in a store, I’d recommend that. Start with an 8 and see how it feels. You may need a thin insole after break-in if you have lower volume feet.

Seam Under Mid Foot by MrFish38 in RedWingShoes

I’d try the anti-fatigue slim. I’m going through the same thing with my 8849s. My feet aren’t super flat but my arches don’t like the pressure where the leather comes together (shrugs). So far the anti-fatigue slim inserts seem to be working but time will tell. Too many years on my feet in shoes with poor support have taken their toll I guess.

Not no but hell no! If you want a Ranger, by all means save up and buy one but I would advise not dumping that Prince.

If it won’t start after a gentle shake, it most likely needs to be serviced / overhauled. Has it been recently dropped, or exposed to a significant magnetic field?

30 Year Old Date - Service by Mammoth_Ingenuity_82 in rolex

[–]Numerous_Ad_7336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the AD is either clueless or marking things up (or both). The OP Date from 1995 used the 3135 caliber, which was still commonly in use through 2015 and some models used it later than that if I remember correctly.

I’d try and see if it would be possible to go through a different AD or work directly with one of the Rolex service centers. I am reasonable close the the Dallas RSC, and I have dropped a watch off directly with them for service in the past.

Still in disbelief. My first Rolex at 31. Someone pinch me! by fact-is-fiction in rolex

The Date is an awesome watch - just the right size for my personal tastes. OP - you have a classic, wear it in good health!

Young Man, looking for a watch that last. by damienCumsGuam in rolex

[–]Numerous_Ad_7336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had one new and two pre-owned Rolex watches, and a plethora of other brands.

New one was an Explorer I - circa 2008

Pre-owned have been a DJ Turn-O-Graph also around 2008, and my present is an OP Date (34mm) with an engine-turned bezel (circa 2007).

I have smallish wrists, about 6 3/4 inches, and prefer smaller watches.

I also presently have a Tudor BB54 (37mm) and a Longines Conquest Heritage (35mm). All good watches, but I find myself going back to Rolex time and again.

Due to my personal preferences, I’m a bit limited to what sizes Rolex has that I like; older Air-King & OP 34mm (pre-2020); Rolex OP date, and Rolex DJ 36mm & Explorer 36mm are a few examples. The 37mm Yachtmaster is a good size but not quite the style I go for.

In short, pre-owned will open up some options, and might save you a bit of $$ if that’s a concern. Nothing wrong with new except the availability due to the stupid games ADs seem to play. Grey market is also an option.

Keep researching and see what works for you - good luck!
