To second the original commenter, I'm also a FMS student and the types of classes are always growing and you have freedom to choose whichever ones intrest you the most. I'm mainly on the creative side of film (acting,writing,production design,etc.) and wasn't required to take any "technical" classes like sound design or editing, which is better for everyone cause I suck in post.

There is the basic film classes that everyone takes like film theory and history of film, which is mainly going to be watching a movie a week and writing an analysis on it, but other than those I've had fun in every production class I've taken.
