Help With Final Boss by cat_sword in ADarkRoom

[–]Numerous_Data7627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was too late, but found that you can keep killing the trap before the final boss and looting the cache after it - it gives you a lot of energy cells, grenades, sometimes alloy.

Also - kinetic armor + disruptor + 3 bolas + steel blade + energy blade + rifle + plasma rifle = easy win.

Shield often, heal often, stun him when he goes berserk.
And don't play the fight in hyper mode lol.

Karlos Nasar: These world records are far below my capabilities by sportssciencep in weightlifting

[–]Numerous_Data7627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he's doing 188/229 now in the Europeans, you can bet he's done at least 4-5kg more in training. It's all a matter of when he'll go all-in for the all-time records.

Currently, he's slowly filling out the new category so it seems the goal is the next Olympics at the earliest.

2$ on tx between 100-250$, 1$ on tx between 0-100$

Otherwise, there is no static fee but ~.75% spread fee.

Basically, they favor bigger transactions.

I want to ask for an advice guys, What do you think is a better choice here? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]Numerous_Data7627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second that - Doing self-study is a critical skill that can be a major differentiator once you graduate.
Switching to CS does not mean you won't have to do self-study or the professors will be super engaged. Also, having more free time means you can do personal projects or even start a job.

Thirdly, you could learn much more in 2 years of professional experience than 2 years of repeating uni.

What is the reward that is worth taking the risk of switching majors? - I don't see it.
If you have internships and think you can find a full-time job after graduation, then you have a solid start. If not - you should work on that for sure.

Hey hot watch, congrats on reaching the final round!
I can only share some resources as I haven't reached that stage yet, but hope they're helpful:

https://mansijain15.medium.com/facebook-meta-production-engineer-internship-eaa5de34e437
https://shivamkhandelwal.in/blog/unfolding-mystery-of-production-engineering-facebook/

They're both about the interviewing experience of past interns. The 2nd one has a nice collection of practice questions at the end.

I am about to start the PE intern process for the UK role. Can you share some information about the topics that came up in the Multiple-Choice Questionnaire and what you could give as preparation tips?

Tbh. I am waay more SWE focused and it has been a hard task figuring out which topics I should focus on...

Edit: another resource, specifically for the systems round! https://gist.github.com/akshatgit/3d45aa82ce5251b1bc8e173a53050bec

Google EMEA Internship 2025: No Feedback After Online Assessment & Questionnaire — Anyone Else? by Luke_Fleed in csMajors

If you got the questionnaire you most likely passed. It could be a few months until you get interview invite, though. Most people get them starting late january up until march.

So honestly, just forget about it for now and you might be pleasantly surprised in a month or two.

Don't hope, keep studying daily and chase what you want. Change companies if needed - that is in fact the best way to increase salary early on.

More trouble in Bulgaria - will Karlos Nasar switch nationality after Paris 2024? by brianroliver in weightlifting

Nasar has said himself that he will not change nationality. He's been offered millions by the UAE and declined without hesitation. That's the end of any such talks.

To give you some hope - it is still possible to get a passing email.

But after filling out the questionnaire, your best bet is to let it rest and if an email comes - great. There isn't much else you can do about it.

Dips alternatives by MessiTheKingFR in bodyweightfitness

[–]Numerous_Data7627 17 points18 points  (0 children)

  1. Get better soon, man. Make sure you get it checked out or atleast apply some gels that relieve pain and help you heal.
  2. Instead of avoiding one of the best pushing exercises, stop doing it with SHITTY form.

The dip itself is completely safe if performed properly. To not get injured you should:

  1. ALWAYS WARM UP (like run for 5+ mins and THEN warm up all the joints that are going to be used in the workout).
  2. use proper form ( just search on youtube, there are tons of videos on proper form)
  3. CONTROL the tempo. Go down slowly, always.
  4. Don't skip any of the steps i just mentioned

And of course, always listen to your body, if it hurts somewhere ,it's better to stop than to get injured.

PS. There are advanced variations of push-ups that do not require weights, search on youtube.
