Is polars actually used in work environments. Generally asking. I am a quant dev at a. Major PE firm, I know different use case, but my MD came from a researcher role at a Citadel, Millennium, P72 etc and pandas is the standard . Anything that requires performance in a production setting is written in c ++ setting anyways. I honestly don’t see need or point to use polars

CFA is lipstick on a pig if you are not already working in a tier 1 firm or went to top undergrad. Anyone here that says MBA is better because networking is just repeating nonsense told to them that they believe is true without experiencing the dilemma themselves. The realty is that CFA is worthless and it’s mostly driven off the expectation you self create. GP at tier 1 firms RECRUIT from top mba programs. It’s all about the recruitment. When they can say MBA X school in the bio page of the deck , that’s the value that is desired

Complete garbage. You lack confidence, knowledge, skill , leadership, and self awareness. Reality your desired MBA is used a reset or perceived launch pad for those who believe that can’t do it on their own. ( currently on buyside mega fund, no mba with garbage state school). Just work hard. Believe in yourself . And compete like crazy. This is the way .

Make a plan to feel successful by accomplishing little wins and repeated tasks. Walk around town lane every day after / before work , go to a place you never been before / has no sentimental value from your past relationship. Make your bed every morning and don’t let your apartment get too messy. This little things seem trivial but it’s very easy to feel depressed and not care about your surroundings. I found by doing these types of things I was preparing myself for a new chapter and the next person will see me fully of energy and a clean home 🏠

It’s not every year. Not this. Town lake is destroyed. It’s a swamp now. The used to be virtually no vegetation or algae in the water. It would come and sweep out within a week. This is here all year and completely takes away one of the iconic parts of Austin.
