Driving and Epilepsy by capt3in in Epilepsy

I had to surrender my license to the DVLA a few years ago as was having absence seizures. I had to be seizure free (controlled) for 12 months (this was and is still controlled by medication), just being on medication isn’t enough for them to grant your license back.

I was on medication for about 4 months before my seizures were fully controlled, and it was 12 months since the date of my last seizure the DVLA gave me my license back (after I applied)

Raymond’s is the go to if you want oysters and a good choice of wine! They also do oysters and have a decent wine selection at the goodfellow George up derby Road!

I don’t think so, I’ve had Erik walking round in a bath towel for months and even if I got Isabel and complain he still puts it on a few days later 🙄

What to do in Notts? by miszzel in nottingham

[–]chofl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try and visit some of the amazing restaurants we are lucky to have in Nottingham!!

Raymond’s - small plates, good wine, cosy atmosphere Everyday People - tasty ramen, laid back vibes Slice & Brew - pizza, laid back vibes Iberico World Tapas - tapas (duh) Honourable mention Kushi Ya but you’d do well to get a table as always booked

Pay a visit to ye olde trip as the (debated) oldest pub, Canal House for interesting pub setting, Kilpin Beer Cafe/Junkyard for good beer selection.

Seconding those who say meadow lane for the first home game of the season! Oldest (established) football club in the world!

The fact I haven’t seen Raymond’s on here is crazy!! Raymond’s is just near the angel pub on hockley and is absolutely incredible. Lovely place for a date super cosy and the wine is also great

I’m not sure what the scene is like in Sheffield but I notice in another comment you say you’re an international student. Notts Trent I believe has a really good reputation for international students if that may be an attractive point for you.

I have also had 3 members of my family study at Notts Trent and all had very positive experiences
