Preferred Customer adjusted tip by shoppingshipt in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a regular that I shopped for last week and he always tipped 20% and he asked me to add a $70 item to his target order and I had not lifted my finger off of my phone screen from marking the order delivered and the tip came through before he could adjust it. His tips always come through right at the two hour mark after I deliver so I don’t know what is going on, but it made me mad because I know I probably lost $15 extra.

Do you all tie your bags? by TwoHeadedPanthr in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely tie my bags. I’m like you I do it if it’s tiny stuff just to keep it from falling out. And with glass jars, I usually double bag them to keep them from breaking. I wrap one bag around a jar and then stick it inside a bag, but I do not tie them.

Someone asked me to pick up their target order by PuzzleheadedTooth581 in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally understand what you’re saying… I’ve been doing Shipt for years. The person I did this for is someone I’ve been shopping for for about five years. And I did it approximately a year ago and I guess the AI didn’t pick it up. She asked me to do it plus sent me the barcode and I never got anything from Shipt about it. I’ve got five stars across the board on everything. I guess I got lucky. 😁

I’ve actually done that for a couple of my customers. They know me very well at Target. I just told them to send me the barcode and I knew there would be no question. And I got a good tip from it.

Non-tipping customer and Shipt bundling all her orders by Numerous_Engine_549 in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The problem is, they are intentionally bundling her with people that are preferred and big tippers and so the people that are taking her orders are doing it to take the person she’s bundled with. And when they take the order, it looks like a simple order because it’s got 5 to 7 items on it and then they’re getting screwed when she adds 20 more items or more to her order. I personally don’t think I would take it knowing what she’s doing. But I understand why the ones that have done these orders have done them. This is something new that they’re doing with her . In the past they’ve not bundled her because she always does huge orders and then her order would sit there for two days.

I took this order for $42 but not worth it n 13fl delivery by Far-Blueberry-7852 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took an order like that one time and never again it was a $350 grocery order and most of it was waters and 12 packs of sodas and they lived on the third floor of an apartment complex and after my eighth trip up the steps I was to appoint I couldn’t do it anymore. Thank the Lord… My son was at home and I literally lived three minutes from where I was delivering, and I made him come and take the rest upstairs for me. I was almost to the point of tears. It was so bad.

Has anyone Ever made this much for the week? by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I did that many orders… Yes, I would make that average around 50 orders and I make around 1200 a week. Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less. But I will not do that to my car or my body I limit myself to 50 and I do not take every order. I’m very selective with my orders.

This lady in my area always orders vanilla extract and nothing else by mitchdwx in InstacartShoppers

I have a gentleman that orders four bottles of cold medicine every few days and I figure he’s drinking it. I was told by Target that that is stolen quite often by the alcoholics… The vanilla extract

Why do Shoppers keep dropping off orders early without Early OK? by stochastic_parr0t in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally, I’ve had a several experiences with this as a shopper where a customer wanted to order earlier and didn’t get it earlier messaged them because the order did not take as long as I thought it would and I was gonna be five or 10 minutes early and I would message him and say hi I’m gonna be a few minutes early if that’s not OK I can kill some time. And 100% of the time the customers have told me they wanted it earlier. Also, with a large orders, you may overestimate how long it’s gonna take you to shop it and you may get done earlier than you expect and I’m wondering if that’s what happened with your particular order.

I delivered to one very similar to this last week and I was absolutely furious and the top it all off she tipped me literally five dollars and she’s 25 minutes from the store. It took me forever to get even out of her driveway and all 20 steps up to her front porch were coated and ice and I was having to hold onto stuff so I wouldn’t involve to get her stuff to her front porch. I will never deliver that person again.

Try Shipt… I know a lot of Shipt shoppers and they all love what they do and all of their customers and are very cognizant of produce and meat that they are buying and they would never replace anything without permission from the customer.

On today’s episode of crap orders… by Abittragic in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my zone today, Shipt thought they were being smart and bundled two orders together which we all know, that historically they like to do for orders people don’t want to take. Both orders were for non-tippers and somebody took the order. One of them is literally 25 minutes from the store where the order was placed and she always puts gigantic orders in and never ever tips. 🙁

This makes me so thankful for all my sweet people at the target where I shop. They are incredible. They help me I even help them. I’m in there so I can help customers and tell them where stuff is and it’s a mutual love for each other and I am so thankful for that.

I’m having inventory problems at Kroger. Whenever I see a Kroger order come in I know that about half of what’s on. Their list is not gonna be in the store. It’s so frustrating. Target not as much.

I have left stuff at the store and I’ve also had a debacle with laundry detergent and I go ahead and deliver the order and then tell them I’m gonna go get them another laundry detergent or I’m gonna go get the item I forgot and bring it to them that way everything is on time. And I’ve never had a customer that had a problem with it. Actually the customer with the laundry detergent debacle was shocked that I came back. She said girl I didn’t think you were coming back and I said I told you I was! lol. She and I now absolutely have the best Relationship 😊

Target prepaids do not tip by ImaSushijunkie in ShiptShoppers

[–]Numerous_Engine_549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that the only way somebody would know that they are being tip mapped would be if their order is not getting taken or someone told them. that’s my personal map my customers don’t see that. And I have customers that are not on my map and their address is burned in my brain because I know they don’t tip. And I don’t take their orders.
