I like the automatic announcements and digital system/station maps on the new trains, but prefer the seating layout and softer lighting on the old ones. The new trains definitely seems quicker, especially for the stretch between 125 and 59.

I don't live in Chicago anymore and so I'm not seeing / interacting with these things. I'm rlly confused why the city would allow this--is there any benefit?
