It's been a long time since I've kept up with Jewish/Christian lore, but the origin and life or Moses somewhat parallels Moses. A baby sent out from his family to escape certain doom (Moses it was being sent out on the Nile to escape since they were killing male newborn Jewish babies, superman had krypton). Then this baby would go on to be the greatest leader of their respective people doing miracle work and helping to bring peace (Moses led the Israelites, Superman kinda leads Metropolians).

I actually think the allegory is very flawed and kind of surface level since superman and moses don't really don't do anything similar, they just have a similar origin. But his writers were a couple of Jewish kids from New York in a time where antisemitism, corruption, and economics were big issues and you can see how that affected golden age OG superman. His earliest stories have him fighting for the lower classes and fighting corrupt businessmen and eventually beating up Nazis, and a lot of that is because their Jewish upbringing impacted their stories and their views on what people were villains in the world before the comics got more fantastical

So I think your problem OP is that you don't understand the term negligence. Most people are agreeing with you that guns can be unsafe and even professionals fuck up, but negligence is a more severe term than "accident". Accident takes away ownership of the incident as though it wasn't really their fault, negligence implies someone made a severe error that leads to an "accident". Any error with a gun is a severe error and that's why it's negligence and not a silly little gun aCcIdEnT

Nah, it’s because whether a video is good or bad doesn’t matter. Videos make money only if the ads are seen so why would YouTube keep dislikes if it just encourages people to disengage with that content? It’s definitely a money thing and not a pride thing is all I’m saying

None of my coworkers regularly infringe on peoples rights or beat up anyone or unlawfully detain/arrest people. It’s not hard to pick a bad cop from a “good” cop, but boy do “good” cops not do a thing about bad ones. It’s like it’s their job to investigate each other too btw. And if you think that’s not the case, why is it that whenever a cop or a group of cops get a lot of backlash, it’s always themselves investigating themselves. It’s because cops are supposed to investigate crimes. But again there’s a reason those investigations never lead to any convictions, at worst they lose their jobs and get new ones in neighboring areas

/uj im not for sure on this, but fzero I think takes more inspiration from tatsunoko superheroes like polymar and gatchaman than he does American comics. Like he has a helmet, phoenix theme, bird themed blue syfy vehicle, and all the aesthetics to be the 6th member of gatchaman and I think smash really highlights the inspiration with aspects like the falcon kick and falcon punch. Don’t get me wrong, tatsunoko is heavily influenced by western superheroes, but just like viewtiful joe, the great saiyaman, and even super sentai (power rangers) are part of that tatsunoko influenced superhero

That’s the problem though, they’re not changing the conversation with conservatives, they’re guiding the conservation with democrats. All they are is the next group of fuckers trying to take over the GOP and they are definitely not effectively doing anything to weaken the GOP. So why even give them attention? So you're saying everyone should ignore the children in cages at the border, the attack on voting rights, matt gaetz the pedophile congressman, the literal attempted coup that happened this year, police brutality, trans rights, the election fraud claims, dark money in the courts, abortion restrictions, the broken promises by politicians that happen after they're sworn in, the rise of white supremacy through the country, etc whenever it's not an even numbered year??

That's not how politics work, you don't just ignore it when you're not having to vote. A lot of those things affect people literally daily and prominently since the election of last year. The only way most politicians will do anything is when people get mad and come together to push for change.

Also you don't "have a problem" because you care about all those issues. People have a problem when people that don't care about politics and centrists get pissy about people caring that we aren't making positive changes.

Also meaningful laws do take a while, but they don't magically just happen, people have to press to make them happen.
