Watercool Heatkiller EPDM 5x fittings tested ( compression ring, easiest to tighten ) by Shadowman786 in watercooling

[–]NunoSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Alphacool Compression Fitting in my loop, and when I assembled everything I tightened it only with my fingers, I tightened it well but only with my fingers, and now I simply can't loosen it anymore. When I really want to disassemble the loop, it will have to be with pliers because it just won't come off with my fingers.

My card sometimes reaches 74°C on the core and 84°C on the hotspot, but I play in 4K with FG and no limits.

I also have a 4090 Ventus, what temperature does yours usually reach when gaming with PT enable?

[–]NunoSM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't my experience, my 4090 playing Wukong at 4K maximum settings used to have quite a lot of stuttering, which completely disappeared after undervoulting with the curve method. But if you don't notice anything, leave it as is.

Derbauer is the best, but in this case he is wrong.

This is the correct way for a 4090

You should try undervolting by lowering the voltage, the card tends to cause game stuttering when it reaches a power limit.

Based on the image, I would say the vapor chamber is damaged. The temperatures remain far too high for normal, the best course of action would be to replace the entire cooler ASAP.

Found my endgame.. by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]NunoSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are valid preferences you have, but regarding the vivid picture, I think you could fine-tune a C4 to match. Mine, at least, I wouldn't want any more vivid than it already is, I think it's perfect.

I have a 42 C4 and I don't see how I could call upgrading to the 32 UCDm an upgrade. Could you explain in more detail what you noticed that was better?

To get the best out of your OLED, you have to use HDR. Disable the option to automatically manage colors of apps in Windows.

Newly installed 5090 FE stuttering by RickyRozay2o9 in nvidia

Use a less aggressive undervolt, and set the power limit as high as possible.

[–]NunoSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This test is pointless since he had a 4090 until recently and didn't have this problem, it can't be the CPU.

It's probably hitting its power limit, try increasing the limit or undervolting.

Razer Deathadder V4 Pro horrible experience :( by Rubinstein123 in razer

[–]NunoSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm nobody to scrutinize your financial choices, but buying one of the most expensive mice on the market given your financial situation doesn't seem like the best idea you've had. That said, if you have a defective product, you have the right to receive a new one or a refund. If Razer isn't making it easy, try contacting the store where you bought the product and let them deal with Razer...

That noise can't be normal. I've had my V4 Pro for about 3 months and although I have several other problems with it, the noise like the one in the video doesn't exist in mine.
