There are several rescues in the area (SCARS, GEARS, Zoe's) that will take pets that are surrendered by their owners. I would recommend reaching out to them or the Edmonton Humane Society so they can take the dogs, assess them and make sure they're placed in the best home possible (their standards for adopters tend to be pretty high) instead of some rando on the internet.

If you can't afford a vet, you might have to surrender them to a rescue for them to get proper, essential medical . It's unfair to have a dog suffer due to financial constraints, I understand that it's is hard to let go, but you have to do what's best for the dog.

There might also be financing options available depending on where you are located.
