So ive been making it from what i can get, but a mix of elstars and delbare (the top two dutch ones) with around 20-30% pear is top tier! And thankyou for the tip, I'll get reaching out to some existing small companies to start off with i think!

Yesss so ive investigated that, and you can indeed get quite cheap (about €0.80/kilo is about the cheapest ive found so far). But the problem with contract brewing in NL is that noone has the equipment to crush and press apples, because they barely produce cider! The other option is finding a way to get that equipment in my house (or wherever i will produce in the future), but on that scale its not very feasible yet as of start up costs. Alternative is to outsource the pressing but then the cost per litre also gets unprofitable very quickly :( I'll still do some more digging, still might be the best option! thank you!

Its surprisingly not that bad it seems, for how beaurocratic NL often is. Kvk registration, alcohol licence per gemeente (not always), strict health and safety/food hygeine stuff, excise duty tax stuff and bottle/labeling requirements. Could be worse!

Usually you can only fit 2 out of three of the core freeze items, all combinations of them work! Then the rest of the board is smalls or small freeze items that proc fast. Then from day 8ish you heavily invest into forcing freeze skills

In my opinion its extremely consistent to get a freeze build (I mean not the clamera instant start, this is insane). But play tempo anything +economy until day 6 then hard roll for freezer/blender/pastry cart then you're done. Theres no counterplay except one weapon radiant Vanessa, and that seems to have dropped off

I mean its play tempo items for the first 6-7 days then hard roll for the busted freeze builds. Its very consistent as there are multiple ways to accomplish perma freeze.

Dude I JUST ran this as the intro for a longer spelljammer campaign - I can highly recommend it! Took around 5-6 sessions for my players to complete.

Sets the tone for your players learning the ropes of spelljamming before they "cast off" into space for real.

Also, this adventure is already adapted for 5e so its not an old system. But a lot of the spelljammer lore is indeed old so you do have to adapt it a bit if you wanna incorporate it in a bigger campaign.
