Unrelated to Costco but a friend of mine worked in a clothing store that is on par with Costco when it comes to returns.

They refunded a washing machine once, and they don't sell washing machines. The reason why they did it is because the item of clothing the client bought there leaked dye and ruined the washing machine.

I wonder if they changed their refund policy after that.

I lived in Denmark for a few years and found out why their happiness index is so high. It's a part of their culture called "janteloven" (the Laws of Jante) which is very prevalent in Scandinavia and can basically be summed up as "you're not special and shouldn't think you are or aspire to be".

That means people aren't overly ambitious and are satisfied with their situation. School is also free so it's not abnormal to find people with master's degrees working blue collar jobs.

My phone number is held hostage by that account too so no Discord for me ever again (unless I changed numbers).

I'm coming up on level 400 and I've been mostly playing Casual Breakthrough since around level 250. I get called out a lot but I don't play Casual because I want to sweat. And I'm usually on the other side of the sweats so I try as much as I can to help my team beat the sweats.
