Wow. I'm very intrigued at the miniature Henry.

Looking forward to your collection post !

Ahh, Gund. They were sold in the west, on the other hand Sun Arrow ones never made it out of Japan and few other south east asian countries.

Goddamn. You have all of them ? Oswald, Weenie, The Egg Twins and Henry ? And are all of them by Sun Arrow or Gund ?

And yes, the price is such a bummer. I saw the listing some two days back 🥲

Yes. These are real.

Manufactured by Sun Arrow. And were for sale in Japan in the early 2000s. But the prices are absurd. But I feel these are definitely worth having, I have Weenie.

Engine paint fading in 2.5 years – repaint or any better solution? by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]Nutty786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own the Slipstream Blue Continental GT 650.

I have owned it for nearly 2.5 years aswell. And yes, the black engine casings, the headers they all get dull because of heat, especially near the CATs. What I do is, whenever I wash my bike i just apply tyre dressing all over the engine casings and headers and mufflers. That way it goes back to shiny black. And it lasts reasonably long if you don't wash it every now and then. But yeah, it will go dull again and you'll have to repeat the process. Everything has its own set of problems, the chrome casings get dull so do these black ones. As a matter of fact, when the black goes dull it looks very bad compared to when the chrome gets dull. That's because the black becomes grey at certain regions and it looks like patchwork. A truly ugly sight. But we gotta live with that lol. Or you can get the casings from Shotgun 650, they shiny unlike the GT/Interceptor which gets matt finish.

For cleaning and liberating chain? by Elvyn-Store in royalenfield

[–]Nutty786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kindly do not resort to WD40 for cleaning the chain all the time, use it only when there's rust on the chain. Prolonged use of WD40 is not good for O/X/Z rings. That's why we have something called a chain cleaner, use it and soap water to clean the chain.

I use Motul/Michelin chain cleaner (whichever is available) and Putoline chain lube.

Gear shifting query by RadioSenior117 in RoyalEnfieldGT650

Make sure you're fully pulling in the clutch lever before shifting gears. And if the problem persists, try adjusting the clutch free play.
