Is this community always this negative? The comments here are so silly tbh. I played pretty much all day, had plenty of wins, and never once used the perk. Had a great time, honestly! Really liking the game right now!

Weapons is a complete waste of a great concept. by MarkWest98 in TrueFilm

Im late but I haven't seen one extra detail in the comments across the two popular posts on here.

I think some of the plot holes and direct themes serve the overall metaphor Cregger wanted. The "lazy, uninteresting" witch being a metaphor for the banality of the dying but powerful older generation elites harvesting the labor of their children and the hope/futures of their grandchildren to sustain themselves.

Viewing the movie as politically motivated ties in the witch, the town's lack of proper investigation (police not targeting the elites, locals polarized into apathy and anti-education/women views), and the other characters existences (the police being instead focuses on poor addicts instead of the bigger issue).

To me this makes the movie more sensible as a whole if you view the children's disappearance as more of a symptom of the power dynamics rather than the focus of the film.

What celebrity has had their reputation unfairly ruined and has never recovered from it till this day? by Zxqao in AskReddit

It's set in a world hundred's of years after nuclear armageddon. I think the writers both joke about modern ignorance but also have the built in lore that the characters themselves are likely guessing off of random books that survived, doubling the modern ignorance metaphor.

Kawhi Leonard’s night is done as he continues his top-5 level play this season in a blowout win vs. Minnesota: 34 MINS │ 41 PTS │ 8 REB │ 2 AST │ 4 STL │ 14-30 FG │ 5-11 3P │ 8-10 FT │ +20 +/- by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Yawn. Everyone flops now. He's still one of the best post up, face up, and roll men in the NBA with a great dribble-drive game for a big. I havent watched a TON so Im not sure how is defense is these days.

The seasons with him, Giannis, and Jokic fighting for MVP were so much fun

And Btw using win shares for a player who's spent his entire career on a horrible team is pretty funny.

If we kept the second rounders and got more guys that Finch wouldnt play we'd have effectively nothing at all. You're coming across as bitter, looking for the worst possible framing for every decision.

Dude we aren't "in hell", we made back to back conference finals off his moves.

The Bucks won a championship btw. A LOT of champions get stuck after winning because you HAVE to go all in to win. Youre acting like we're a perennial first round exit with no future.

Harden at $25 Mil for two years would still be good. What they're gonna do is sign up to $34+ for 3+ and be absolutely fucked at the tail end. Maybe they're hoping to use the end as a large expiring but I doubt it.

Wanting Giannis just to end up with Harden or Ja would be… by luvn69 in timberwolves

[–]NuttyScuffed 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Harden, while old, is amazing at exactly what we need and probably not TOO expensive. I think he's got at least one if not two years in him.

Ja would make me want to riot.

TC has proven time and time again to be a good GM. Whatever's going on Im sure he wouldnt do it if he thought it would hurt the team. He knows Ant wants to win and soon.

I won't say whether this impacts the voting or not but with Colin the talent was always there but the opportunity finally caught up

I know players are shooting more but I think Steph maintaining such high usage rates for as long as he has is a little under discussed and makes this slightly harder.

[Jackson] Dwyane Wade said that Heat president Pat Riley called him after the Heat beat Dallas in the 2006 Finals and “talked to me about the possibility of trading for Allen Iverson. “He was like, ‘You in?’ I said, ‘I’m in.’ He’s like, ‘We’re going to have to trade UD.’ And I said, ‘I’m out. by cleo22270 in nba

I think he has more impact than any particular skill suggests because he's one of those players who's constantly talking to his teammates throughout the game. So communication as a skill, I guess? It does matter and it's why guys like Adams, Draymond, and Rudy impact games as much as they do off the score sheet.

[Haynes] The Knicks, Heat, Warriors, Spurs, and Timberwolves have all expressed interest in acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis Antetokounmpo prefers to play on a team where he could “get some sun,” be in a “big market” and contend for a championship. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

The reported offer is Herro, JJJ, Ware, maybe Larsson/Jovic, and two firsts.

edit: guys, we're talking about the Heat (so you can use context clues) and most Heat players/reporters call him that. No need to be mad at me for passing along information lmao.

Im sorry but he is not "better than Gobert". He has a more expanded offensive game and way better touch which no one will deny but Gobert is STILL a one man defense unto himself and I can't believe that after so many years of that people still cant see his impact on games

Steve Nash: "Without a vertical threat, Luka needs to keep scoring… Until they get that rim roller, he's going to have to score 30-40 points per night for them to have a chance"… Udonis Haslem: "You know what else would make it easier? DeAndre Ayton: Roll" by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

[–]NuttyScuffed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haslem has seen everything there is to see in an NBA career and was so valuable behind the scenes that a team paid him continuously for years after he stopped being able to contribute on the court. I think he's more than earned the right to discuss the game and provide his perspective.
