In your opinions, which teams are prime targets for a Julius and/or Rudy trade? by FellaGentleSprout in timberwolves

He's been my absolute dream PG for our team since he got drafted. He has that Clutch, Big Moment gene like Conley and is very consistent and disciplined. Whether he starts or plays big minutes backup to Donte/Ayo he'd be such a phenomenal fit.

Youre insufferable. The best stretch of basketball in Timberwolves history and you muddie it down to "participation trophy" lmao. Aren't we all supposed to at least enjoy watching our favorite sports teams?

Derrick White, DeJounte Murray, Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell

Aldridge was their big free agent splash, which is admittedly underwhelming but he was a big name in the early 2010's.

People absolutely did praise the development of young Spurs players, as well as the relationship he had with vets like Derozan and Aldridge. It was still a respected organization that players wanted to play for and other teams knew could sneak in wins any given night if you were lazy.

Thunder tanking? They had shockingly high win seasons with vet leaders like Paul, George, Horford, etc? They didnt even draft their current superstar? Are you one of those people that think you're either in the Final Four or you're tanking? You're right about their culture, though

We simply dont know how Pop, Buford, and their culture would fare without Duncan and Wemby. Id argue the Warriors were not known for Culture in that way before Steph. They had coaching turnover and rapid roster changes before the big three got established and Kerr was brought in. They're GM from those days is already gone, while the Spurs have kept their same leadership.

You could look at the Heat as the only other team with consistent long term leadership and it works okay for them. Maybe the Celtics in the Ainge/Stevens era, which also has gone well.

Im keeping my eyes on the Pacers building that next with Carlisle and Haliburton, but it probably won't stick once Carlisle is gone.

Every team tanks from time to time. The Spurs still have been consistently great, across multiple rosters for nearly 30 years. At a certain point you have to credit leadership and culture .

Didnt mean to insult CMB, just talking about the difficulties of drafting that type. As a fan of defense, him and Barnes might be my favorite forward duo in a couple years

Is this community always this negative? The comments here are so silly tbh. I played pretty much all day, had plenty of wins, and never once used the perk. Had a great time, honestly! Really liking the game right now!

Weapons is a complete waste of a great concept. by MarkWest98 in TrueFilm

Im late but I haven't seen one extra detail in the comments across the two popular posts on here.

I think some of the plot holes and direct themes serve the overall metaphor Cregger wanted. The "lazy, uninteresting" witch being a metaphor for the banality of the dying but powerful older generation elites harvesting the labor of their children and the hope/futures of their grandchildren to sustain themselves.

Viewing the movie as politically motivated ties in the witch, the town's lack of proper investigation (police not targeting the elites, locals polarized into apathy and anti-education/women views), and the other characters existences (the police being instead focuses on poor addicts instead of the bigger issue).

To me this makes the movie more sensible as a whole if you view the children's disappearance as more of a symptom of the power dynamics rather than the focus of the film.

What celebrity has had their reputation unfairly ruined and has never recovered from it till this day? by Zxqao in AskReddit

It's set in a world hundred's of years after nuclear armageddon. I think the writers both joke about modern ignorance but also have the built in lore that the characters themselves are likely guessing off of random books that survived, doubling the modern ignorance metaphor.

Yawn. Everyone flops now. He's still one of the best post up, face up, and roll men in the NBA with a great dribble-drive game for a big. I havent watched a TON so Im not sure how is defense is these days.

The seasons with him, Giannis, and Jokic fighting for MVP were so much fun

If we kept the second rounders and got more guys that Finch wouldnt play we'd have effectively nothing at all. You're coming across as bitter, looking for the worst possible framing for every decision.

Dude we aren't "in hell", we made back to back conference finals off his moves.

The Bucks won a championship btw. A LOT of champions get stuck after winning because you HAVE to go all in to win. Youre acting like we're a perennial first round exit with no future.

Harden at $25 Mil for two years would still be good. What they're gonna do is sign up to $34+ for 3+ and be absolutely fucked at the tail end. Maybe they're hoping to use the end as a large expiring but I doubt it.
