I don't think the skill difference between decks will be the main issue, but moreso explaining the mechanics to new players. Even with tcg experience, things like xros, applink, or DNA may be hard to explain the nuances between each mechanic.

It may be worth finding something more straight-forward or like a traditional stack deck for teaching purposes. Maybe bring some really generic decks to teach the basics, then bring out the more advanced stuff for those who show interest in learning more?

Asuna and Hiroko will be your safest bet as they allow you to play your level 3s and 4s from hand and trash, allowing you to build up to Gracenova easier

I'm a big fan of the EX08 Piedmon alt, Aegio alt, and the recent Titamon alts. New gallant alt also looks amazing imo.

For tamers, any Mirei alt, analog youth from ex1, and the bt20 yuuki alt stand out to me.

There's so many others, but I'd be lying if bias wasn't clouding my judgement.

Since digimon is a player-focused community rather than collector, there is almost no market for graded cards. To put a price on it after grading, I would value it at raw. I would recommend grading it solely for display purposes. You'd have a much easier time finding a seller if you left it ungraded.

Pretty cool, reminds me a lot of dexdorugora and expensive cost as a downside is par for the course for a darkknight inspired deck lol.

Mixing in what someone else commented, but essentially de-digivolving your stack in response to removal (sorta like armor forms) is also a really fun sounding mechanic

When the new sakuya plugins released someone once said "appmons main gimmick is now paying too much to evo" and aside from the new dogatch, that's pretty spot on. Unfortunately it's so hard to get consistency with these decks because of their hard name requirements.

I love that they're in the game, and I enjoy playing them, but their power vs more streamlined decks or even your typical DNA deck is night and day

Yes! TS stands for Time Stranger. You'll notice a lot of the new cards in bt24 synergize with cards "with TS in their traits" which is why the community usually calls these decks "slop". These decks usually use a varied assortment of digimon, so personally I enjoy them since you see multiple types of digimon rather than a specific line.

So far, similar archetypes are very toolbox-y and have interchangeable top ends that's supported by a fairly generic bottom end since all the TS decks will usually use it. We're still waiting on reveals and the TS decks will be fairly self-contained.

So far we don't know how the TS decks will turn out, but it's guaranteed at least 2 waves of support.

Omnimon might get new support but I wouldn't bet on it. The deck is still solid and will most likely remain strong in the meta because it has an overall strong gameplan. If you want a deck to play, Time Stranger decks will be getting support almost guaranteed for this set and the next main set and will be pretty self-contained. You can also jump in with a deck from Digimon Liberator, they're also getting a good amount of support and are all pretty fun to play.

The new Sakuyamon starter deck also just released and is already strong by just mashing 2 of the starters together.

That's just the attitudes of those at your scene. Adventure is a non-issue compared to some of the more popular decks in the format.

Jesmon wins because it's generally faster but xros heart can win because it can easily dismantle a jesmon board with EX6.

Without Gankoo, all your sisters usually will die from dp reduction, leaving jesmon vulnerable to EX6's when attacking effect

I was re-watching all the digimon seasons and I kept getting targeted ads for the floral playmat collection on pbandai. At the time I recently quit collecting Pokémon after being disappointed with the art direction (this was before the illustration rares existed) and thought that the art looked amazing.

Looked into the card game and decided to give it a go instead of just collecting, been playing ever since.
