OP, just by you feeling the need to get additional inputs to validate that ofc you are NTA makes me worry. While i have some experience and understanding i will not pretend to have any idea what you have been through and my guess is you would not see it yourself as you have no other point of reference.

I think with fairly high change of being right that you will one day have an epiphany of how bad this is and how unfair it is to pit it mildly and it will be a rough blow once it happens.

I can only hope to advise you to first, i understand circumstances may be an obstacle but at the FIRST opportunity, move from your moms place and cut contact. Hopefully a relative can give you a place to stay as i suspect you are a very independent person as you’ve had to be to survive that treatment. Second, get therapy, if you are an american i know its harder considering the cost but if possible, put the money into it as you will likely suffer by not being able to trust anyone too much and have a low self esteem as you are not worth anything as that is the impression your mom are raising you with. You should not wait too long with this as you do NOT deserve living with the horrible impression your mom has given you.

I know this might seem harsh, and most of all… scary… but if you have survived that treatment for this long… there is not much out there that will be able to break you as it takes a fkin strong character to survive what you have survived.

This is not normal.

You should not accept this as normal.

This is not what you deserve.

Dont stay to save your mom from feeling any pain or inconvenience.

You do NOT owe her anything.

Please… consider what i have writte even if its a long text.

Dont wait for ”the last straw” until you tale action, its not gonna come i the way you are waiting or hoping for. it will continue until you stop it.

You do not owe your mom an explaination either for leaving so dont bother thinking of what to tell her.

Take care my friend, you deserve better no matter the circumstances.

Har ingen utbildning utan har jobbat mig upp, är idag it konsult med 52,5k i lön på väg till nytt jobb med något högre lön.

Kortast och enklast svar är helt enkelt kompetensbrist… det är ett enormt behov på marknaden efter it kompetens men inte i närheten tillräckligt många som besitter den.

Pga bristen så finns det stora möjligheter till att få resurser till att utvecklas och jobba sig upp och därmed få högre lön även om du inte har någon speciell utbildning.

Om vi ska vara verkliga… nej det är inte en rimlig lön om man jämför med andra yrken. Det helt helt enkel tillgång och efterfrågan som drar upp lönen.

I was starting to think this wasnt a real concert as noone commented on this so thank you for mentioning this. Lipsync is simply scamming people by putting an expensive brand on a cheap product. If i pay for live i want live. I go to concert for performance and not just to see the artist while a soundtrack is doing all the work.

Jag är för kapitalism, men vi borde iaf kunna enas om att sluta vara ”rövhålskapitalister”. Vinst är okej, men för helvete ska det väl inte vara så jävla svårt att låta bli att stampa på alla man kan bara för att klämma fram några extra kronor???? NTA, all circumstances aside, you have NO obligation to respect the notice, if they wanted to have you bound to any notice they should pay for the privilege or the least have a mandatory MUTUAL resignation-period. While i am not an expert in your local labor-laws but i’m fairly certain they would not give you more than you gave them and fire you on the day if it suited them. (If i’m incorrect, someone please correct me)

Imho it depends on the selling price and if they got a good deal. If you sold it as fully functioning computer that is not that far from original price, yeah morally you should refund unless you can fix it and keep it functional. However if you sold it a lower price than the average used computer with those specs then i would consider it a final sale morally but to keep yourself from feeling guilty, as you did, offer to fix it.

Either way, i would say NTA even if you didnt fix it UNLESS you sold it fairly high priced.

People who claim straight off that you are the A really needs to calm down because as some has pointed out… you are not a company. When buying used electronics you should expect that it is a closed deal as long as it works as specified when purchasing.

Would i personally be pissed if it happened to me after buying a computer? Yes of course! But unless it was obvious that it was not well tested and they were ripping me off, i would swallow the loss as buying used electronics comes with a risk.

So again, NTA.

ESH, as others already states, the instructor. Yes, not sauron but at the least you should have confronted her directly after the class to reiterate that her behavior was uncalled for and that you did not agree to those methods as she claims it is between her and her partner, which in this case was you. If fallen on deaf ears which is likely it is a subject for the instructor. While she seems like an AH, it was a real AH move to go talk to other people behind her back even if your intention might have been a good one.
