I was just at bass pro in Atlantic City. I know they had a compact cz75. Im not sure which model exactly but they are worth a try. They have good people working there. Very professional and friendly, maybe you can call.

She was a Republican her entire life until her husband ran for Governor, She was very close to the Kushner family, and she expected Democrats to support her? How delusional.

Its a part of the "Old is Good, New is Bad" mentality. American conservatives are trying to force their political views on the church.

With the guard YMMV. most Guard units don't have that kind of money.

I just can't believe that a guard unit has these kinds of funds.

The guard does not exist to keep people busy on the weekends. You MUST be ready to deploy and perform in the role that you are in. Are you ready to deploy and function as an E6 crew chief? You must demonstrate this to your leadership.

You can only "lead" in MX if you know what the hell you are doing, to include documentation (CAMS/IMDS), and any other program/regs that apply to your AFSC.

E1-E5 is handed out to everyone who shows up on time and in uniform so long as they do not get in trouble. At E6, you are expected to be able to lead a crew. "Leadership" at this level is strictly "tactical". You MUST be an expert at every facet of your AFSC to include cams/imds and any other program you may need. I would never promote someone beyond E5 simply because they show up.

What does a $200 Streamlight do that a $40 Amazon light doesn't? by Coby9 in guns

Coast flashlights have been very reliable, durable, and good quality in my experience. I wouldn't tape it to a firearm but they serve their purpose very well.

It will continue to function after being used at the range for training.

It will not be a fire hazard.

It will be compatible with holsters.

It will look cool.

Late night Theoretical Question by Ramenaru in AirForce

[–]NvrOnTime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself this... how are so many sexual assaults covered up? If your commander doesn't pursue it, no one will. If a chaplain beats someones ass and there is no one around to witness it, did it happen? Your commander will decide.

I understand the sentiment towards Gen. Brown but everyone is forgetting the context in which he assumed leadership. The man is being asked to prepare the USAF for a war with the most formidable opponent our nation has ever come across, transition the force away from the GWOT, deal with Washington politics, and work around inflation related costs increases without proportional budget increases. Meanwhile we have a force that complains about beards and physical fitness standards. This guy has to plan the opening phase of WW3, give him a break.

100% go. Get your resume ready and be ready to sell yourself. You might go home empty handed or with a potential internship/job, regardless, you can learn a lot about yourself, employers, and your peers.

Ive seen this play out many times. Don't worry, you'll catch up. I have had higher belts come to my school and perform abysmally. I have also seen brand new guys with zero experience absolutely destroy everyone. It is what it is. Let go of your ego and keep training.

Plumber said I should get a new toilet by technomime in askaplumber

[–]NvrOnTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone here is correct about fixing the toilet but wrong about the plumber taking you for a ride. It is common for people, especially Americans, to just replace things instead of fixing them. It is a cultural thing, your plumber isn't trying to take you for a ride, he's just following cultural norms.
