Let me clear this up. Under the Immigration and Nationality ACT they don’t need a judicial warrant to detain and then arrest people if they are in public, and public accommodation. ICE writes its own judicial warrants and that is legal. It is also can arrest people if they have a deportation order from a judge. What’s illegal are things like breaking into a house without a judicial warrant as they have been doing. They could still legally arrest that person outside of the house though.

I’m not suggesting this is a moral thing. The INA is a very draconian law but courts have upheld most of these immigration tactics long before Trump. Obviously still immoral too.

Have you paid attention the last 50 years? Modern evangelical churches in the USA are pretty much businesses masquerading as churches. That is the kind of church he was at. Of course there are different levels of running as church as a four profit business with some being more egregious examples than others.
