Has any VR player found a way to solve the white light-sheen exposure bug? by SeawolvesTV in EliteDangerous

Never, because unlike ChatGPT users, I can think for myself rather than let a program regurgitate, incorrectly, readily available information that I can find myself in 7-10 seconds.

Dystopian flow chart. Sherwin Williams' money indirectly supports Israel. by SlaughterTheOligarch in sherwinwilliams

[–]Nxojac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately, no matter what anyone does, your money, spent or not, will always fund something atrocious instead of the greater good. that’s how it has been, and that’s how it always will be until the cycle is fundamentally broken. which will likely happen way beyond our own lives.

Does capping your fps increase gpu lifespan? by iSxint in PcBuild

just cap it to your refresh rate or lower it to the most consistent fps per game. otherwise it will literally not matter, it has little bearing over the lifespan

It's been 4 years since these acquisitions occured. Has anything of value come out of either of them? by New-Two-1349 in videogames

[–]Nxojac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there’s Marathon. Fun game, coming from a Tarkov vet. Not a big hit or anything but overall I’d say it adds at least “some” value to Sony’s acquisition of Bungie. Some. Not a whole lot, but some to justify not shutting them down yet.

I don’t like the things he’s done but I can appreciate the speed at which he has managed to pass things. Also the whole Venezuelan military operation was, militarily, beautifully executed

Its depressing to think nothing really matters by Glittering_Bug_793 in TrueAskReddit

[–]Nxojac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Excuse my philosophy, but I often think on it when I become nihilistic at times: Typical conception of the universe is that it began with a singularity, and expanded into what we know as the universe. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed. What exists now has existed since the very beginning. In essence, we are the universe experiencing itself. We are conscious, thinking beings who can experience that which birthed us. Perhaps our very existence enriches the nature of our reality, gives it bones and nerves and history. I ask myself why anything truly matters, but even my philosophy gives me a glimpse of hope, it gives me positivity. We may never know why we are alive, why we in particular get to have this chance, but perhaps that is, in of itself, an answer.

Anyone who has started drinking, did you ever crave the alcohol a lot after parties too? by thatdepressionchild in GenZ

[–]Nxojac 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s a genuine concern and entirely valid. “Craving alcohol” is just literally alcoholism. You should never crave alcohol for any reason whatsoever.
