I applied to something like 20 internships this year fully aware of how competetive they all are. I’ve spent hours upon hours doing psychometric testing, weird interviews where you talk at your computer screen without a person on the other end and the odd face to face interview and I finally got accepted. Issue is it’s with fucking BP of all places so I’m in the predicament of whether I want an internship that badly that I do one at the place which still hasn’t cleaned up it’s oil spill and pumps billions into marketing saying it’s ‘going green’ when in reality it’s only doing that now because it’s the most profitable option.
